Chapter 7 – Bitch Quest
<– Previous Chapter | Table of Contents | Next Chapter –>
I, Elisabeth FitzClarence, lost my memories. I realized this just a few days ago. When I suddenly woke up on top of the bed installed in my room inside Dragon City, I noticed that a huge chunk of my own memories was gone. At the same time, I saw myself during the time of me having lost my memories in a new light.
I identified the cause for my amnesia. Most likely I did something unreasonable back home in Charis. A collar sealing my mana was put on me, and yet I still tried to head over to his side, losing my consciousness in the process. I recalled this to be the event right before I lost my memories.
My memory loss lasted for several months. I spent that time almost like a completely different person. The events I witnessed with these eyes and ears turned into vivid memories that were repeatedly played back in my mind, as if only my consciousness had been transferred into another person’s body, before blending with my already-existing memories.
I felt how the two separate sets of memories became one inside me.
The reason for my memories to have returned must have been the sickness recently afflicting me for several days. I know that my body’s condition deteriorated, resulting in me collapsing in this mansion. However, when I checked back with Allen, I had apparently stayed in bed for a much longer period than I thought.
I’m told that atavism has been the cause for my poor physical health. According to Allen’s explanation, an ancestor of the FitzClarence family was a person with non-human blood.
It’s an absurd story.
My ancestor had a relationship with a non-human being. Moreover, it’s said that blood has been continuously inherited up until today. This reality might have a big influence on the FitzClarence family, in addition to the influence it has on my body. If other families hear of this, one day it might become a weakness.
But, I was in such a deep abyss of despair that I didn’t mind this fact whatsoever. Having lost my memories, I not only forgot about other people, but even about him.
The unexpected re-occurrence of my ancestor’s trait and the fever plaguing my body in the process became the reason for my memories to return by coincidence. However, it’s not like the events that took place during my memory loss didn’t happen. They were also deeds done by Elisabeth FitzClarence.
I did something terrible to him not just once, but even twice. I didn’t know how I should face him when we would meet next. Because of that fear and my own cowardice, I decided to conceal the fact of me having recovered my memory. I decided that I wouldn’t tell anyone about it.
And then he visited my room several days after my previous memories returned.
I was nervous. I felt how all the muscles in my body cramped up. I was meeting him for the first time since getting my memories back. His appearance was as charming and attractive as before, no, it had become even more charming. I sensed something hot filling my chest due to that fact.
I mean, his existence was more precious to me than anything else. For this very reason, feelings of regret incessantly overflowed from within me.
He faced me with his usual smile on that day. He paid attention to a miserable woman like me. That alone made me very happy, filling my heart with joy to the brim. Non-human blood or atavism; I was so happy that all of it didn’t matter at all.
Probably because of that, I felt a rage like I’ve never experienced before building up within me when I listened to what he had to say.
During the few days this body was laying on its sickbed, he had the place where he belonged stolen by the Penny Empire. On top of having his peerage and fief confiscated, he was banished from Charis. Furthermore, he was beheaded in the presence of the public and I hear his head is still on display in the city.
If this didn’t enrage me, what else would? The cause for all this was the saint of the Great Holy Land. And that’s why I decided to certainly judge that saint with my own hands.
*
The biggest problem was the question of how to travel to the Great Holy Land. Even if I went there by fast horse, the round-trip would take several weeks. Even taking an airship would require several days.
Of course, you could definitely say that’s inevitable. But, right now I don’t have the mental capacity to take such a relaxed approach.
At that point, I suddenly recalled Lord Fahren’s research. Some time ago he operated a demonic magic circle of space magic. As such I wondered whether I couldn’t use that as a means to travel to the Great Holy Land, if he had reproduced that magic circle to some extent. I wouldn’t mind losing an arm over this in the worst case.
With these thoughts in mind, I had Sophia guide me to Lord Fahren’s place.
And as a result of that, I safely reached the Great Holy Land several days later.
“…Somehow I managed to get here, huh?”
Lord Fahren’s magic circle had already reached the stage of being practically usable. Using space magic, I traveled to an inn town close to the Great Holy Land in one breath. It’s the same town where I previously stayed when I had visited the Great Holy Land.
It only took one hour of Flight magic from there to arrive in the town where the saint lived.
The mana necessary to activate the magic circle was provided by everyone of Dragon City in a joint effort. Officially they were participating in Lord Fahren’s research. And that wasn’t a lie either. As a matter of fact, we had agreed that I’d report the details to Lord Fahren once I managed to safely get back to the Penny Empire.
Even if this has some extra attached to it, it won’t be any problem at all.
Afterwards I was going to kidnap the woman who insulted him, and simply go back to the Penny Empire. As for my return trip to Charis, I planned to steal an airship or whatever else was available. If that seemed to be difficult, I thought about taking the overland route, since everything would be fine as long as I brought that woman’s head back at the very least.
I felt like I’d be able to do everything right now. I was simply absorbed in my duty and wanted to do good for his sake.
“I’ll never forgive her. Never…”
After arriving at my destination, I decided to take an inn as base of operations for the time being. While walking across the bustling streets, I proceeded towards the center of the city. Just as it was normal in the Penny Empire, the quality of the buildings improved the closer you got to the city’s center. I didn’t mind not picking such a high-class room, but I should probably secure myself a minimum level of security.
Given what my objective was, I couldn’t afford anyone to guess my situation. For the same reason, I didn’t take any of my friends with me either. At times I had gathered people at the guild for my sake who were playing make-believe adventurers with Allen and Cyan.
However, limited to this time alone, it was necessary for me to accomplish this by myself. This city was the territory of the saint. I should probably consider everyone around me as an enemy.
Besides, even though I may look like this, I’m quite confident in my own skills in magic. Of course I don’t possess such an extraordinary power like him, but I can use enough magic, allowing me to equally fight Cyan who belongs to the Magic Knight Order.
If my enemy is the saint, who’s nothing more than a figurehead, I think I’ll somehow be able to deal with her myself.
In exchange, I got a robe to hide myself. Invading her mansion while exposing my face would likely cause some problems. I covered my whole body with the robe and used its hood to conceal my face and hair.
It restrained my movement slightly, but this alone was something that couldn’t be helped. The robe had the mark of the Great Holy Land’s church on it. And I could spot people other than me sporadically wearing a similar outfit.
“…This place should be good.”
Once I walked for a bit, I discovered a building with a proper design. The inn’s name hung down from its eaves and I could also see the guests coming and going.
After swiftly finishing all the formalities, I laid down on the bed in the room assigned to me and waited for the sun to sink.
I remember I received a tour through the mansion inhabited by the saint by the woman herself after an audience I had attended together with Papa in the past.
Taking advantage of the night’s darkness, I planned to creep into the mansion and target her when she had fallen asleep.
*
A little time passed since the sun went down. Everything was pitch-black outside the window. I left the inn and sneaked into the saint’s mansion.
The number of guards wasn’t low by any standard, but after spotting a gap in the guard protocol, I infiltrated the mansion through a window.
While making the maids and guard knights in the corridors fall asleep, I hurriedly moved through the mansion. My destination was the saint’s bedroom. I had questioned a maid, whom I met right after sneaking inside, about its location. As soon as I threatened her with magic, she honestly told me everything.
I feel sorry about it, but you’re siding with a very nefarious person here, so I’d like you to resign yourself.
Since I properly cast healing magic on her, I don’t think it’ll lead to any major problems for her. My magic training, which I started after meeting him, exhibited ample results in this situation.
Soon I stood right in front of a door. It led to the saint’s bedroom.
Beyond waits the woman who tricked him. I won’t forgive her. Ever. Yep, I’ll punish her with my own hands. After all, he’s a kind man. I’m sure he’ll immediately forgive her, if she begs for mercy.
“……”
After having come this far, the rest is simple. Even if my opponent wakes up, I just need to hold her down with force. She has been set up as a saint or whatever, but in the end she’s a young woman whose age isn’t all that different from mine. If I shoot one fireball at her, I’ll probably be able to easily overwhelm her.
No one says that she has to have all her limbs anyway. No need to show any reservation towards someone who stole the place where he belongs.
“I’m going in,” I muttered to no one in particular and pulled the door open.
At once I could see the situation inside the room. I confirmed the bed in the middle of the spacious chamber. I could also confirm the contour of a person on the bed underneath a canopy made out of thin lace. A young woman was lying there with her face pointing up. I remember having seen that glossy, silver hair before.
Yep, this is the present saint.
“gh…”
Suppressing the urge to run up to her, I slowly headed to the bed. Standing next to it, I looked down at my target. She seemed to be asleep. I could see her chest slowly moving up and down in tune with her snoring.
At this rate, it might also be possible to take her along by force. Making that judgment, I cast magic to punish her. I held out my right hand towards the bed and began to chant.
A magic circle surfaced on the bed sheet. The next time she would wake up she’d likely suffer terrible burns all over her body.
But, just as I thought so with a chuckle, something happened.
“I really don’t admire you for sneaking into the room of a beautiful girl so late in the night.”
“ng…”
I heard a voice from atop the bed. At the same time, the saint, who seemed to sleep, quickly raised her upper body. Her eyes were pinned on me.
It looks like she feigned to be asleep. No, even if that’s true, it doesn’t matter.
“I came to capture you.”
“That’s yet another very sudden proposal, isn’t it?”
I enforced the capture of the saint. I planned to kidnap her, even if it’d be somewhat forceful. But, I wonder what it is.
“zh…”
“What’s the matter for you to pull such a troubled expression?”
The magic circle gradually lost its brightness. For some reason, the magic didn’t invoke. Her wear, some furniture, or the room itself must be enchanted with something that blocks magic.
Considering her status as saint, it’s very possible for such a measure to have been prepared in her daily life.
In that case…
I took a step forward, approaching the saint after taking a knife out of my bag. Even if I might have faked being an adventurer, I still can defeat an orc with just a sword. Magic might not work here, but that’s okay as long as I overpower her with brute strength. She’ll probably become obedient, if I break an arm.
“Behave obediently.”
I placed a foot on the edge of the bed and leaped at the saint. I placed both hands on her shoulders and pushed her body down. At the same time, I thrust the knife in my hand at her throat.

“Girl, where are you from? And don’t you think you’re quite rude?”
“Be quiet.”
I was worried by the part of her not being perturbed at all, despite her current situation. Maybe she’s getting attacked like this in her function as saint so often that she already got used to this. Anyway, thinking about it won’t solve anything. I’ll just do what I have to do.
Using the rope I prepared in advance, I bound the saint’s hands and feet. I put her left and right hands and feet together and tied them tightly with a rope. With this, I doubt that she’ll be able to move around.
If I make her float with flight magic and take her to the Penny Empire, it’ll complete the first stage of my plan. Thanks to the days I spent with him, I’ve recently become quite skilled at flight magic. This transport wouldn’t pose much of a challenge for me.
Ah, someday I’d love to be tied up by him as well. Though I won’t ask for something as extravagant as getting ravished by him. I just want to get kicked after having my body tightly bound.
“We’re leaving.”
“Oh my, where are we headed?”
“To a place where you will be judged for the crimes you committed.”
“Hmm?”
I headed over to the window facing outside to secure a path of retreat. Pushing the glass window open, I checked the situation outside.
“I finally remembered. You’re the daughter of a noble from the Penny Empire, aren’t you? I recall that you visited me together with your father. Your name was, if I remember correctly…ah, right, it was FitzClarence, wasn’t it?”
“gh…”
Having my identity guessed, My body stiffened up a bit. I guess I let her see my face a bit too much while tying up her body. Or maybe my voice gave it away.
Well, it’s pointless to worry about it this late in the game. It’ll be exposed right away anyway once we return to the Penny Empire. Now that I have captured her like this, it’s not much of a problem.
“What about it?”
I threw the window open and turned around to the saint on the bed. I attempted to lift her with flight magic. But, at that moment it happened.
“Seeing how you believe you can somehow handle me with this level of constraint, I suppose you’re following a different agenda, compared to that man and the Pussy Republic girl. I’ll consider it a plus that I was able to confirm that point at least. Because of that, there is no need for me to hold back against you in any way.”
“Eh…?”
The ropes binding the saint’s hands and feet were torn apart in front of my eyes. Yet, I didn’t see her use any magic worth mentioning. The ropes, which were as thick as my thumbs, were torn apart with raw strength. And yet only small traces of her skin being irritated probably remained. Moreover, she didn’t use any healing magic right afterwards either.
“Wh-, h-how…?”
“Although I may look like a frail girl, I have confidence in my physical strength. Hmm, to give you an example: I think I might be able to beat a high orc to death from the front. Of course, I would never do something so savage under normal circumstances.”
“……”
It seems like I underestimated my opponent’s abilities. I didn’t expect her to possess superhuman strength. Let alone an orc, if it comes to a high orc, that’s no opponent I could finish with my bare hands. Besides, being able to beat such a high orc directly to death exceeds the boundaries of a human, doesn’t it?
It appears like the Great Holy Land’s saint isn’t just a political figurehead.
“rg…”
At this rate, things are bound to fail.
I used my flight magic at once and jumped towards the window I had just opened.
“I won’t let you get away.”
“Ugh…”
A spell was released from the saint’s hand. It released a rainbow-colored brilliance while quickly approaching me. The spell flew at me while expanding into several rays, trying to catch my body. Assuming my opponent possesses the same training in magic as her physical abilities, I’ll be finished if I take one blow from her. Using my flight magic, I evaded the spell.
“What, so you managed to avoid this? Quick, aren’t we?”
“nh…”
The light rays, which missed their target, struck various places inside the room, causing roaring noise. With things like this, people will soon gather here en masse. If I don’t escape the mansion right now, the situation will become even more disadvantageous for me.”
“Hit her!”
“Ugh…”
One blow, which I couldn’t dodge no matter what, hit my left ankle. A sharp pain ran through my leg. Once I checked the situation down there, I saw that the foot beyond my ankle was gone.
However, at the same time I realized that the saint must have attacked at a very forced trajectory. The streams of light, which had been released to obstruct the path between the window and herself, weren’t visible at this very moment. And of course, I wouldn’t miss this chance.
Without minding my left ankle, I launched my body outside the window.
“I will never give up! I promise that I will definitely punish you!”
“Such things are better kept hidden deep inside your heart.”
For an instant, my opponent took a stance as if she was going to leap after me. But, looking hesitant for some reason, she didn’t actually come after me.
Maybe she judged that there was no need to deliberately chase me, or maybe she had another reason. Either way, I barely managed to flee the saint’s mansion.
Once again I was able to survive thanks to him. If I hadn’t learned flight magic while admiring him, it’d have doubtlessly been impossible for me to evade the magic flung at me in the narrow room. I would have run against a wall after messing up my control or my whole body would have been erased like my left foot without me having the time to escape.
The saint also underestimated me in this regard. While feeling grateful for this fact, I scuttled out of the premises as quickly as possible.
*
Having escaped the saint’s mansion, I left the city and moved to a forest on the outskirts. I had picked a fight with the representative of the city, so I definitely had scruples about returning to my inn. Very likely a search for me has been ordered in her name, including all the inns inside the city. Logically, the places where I could hide were limited.
“gh…”
Inside a deserted house, which I discovered while wandering the forest, I flopped down while leaning my back against a wall inside. My left ankle hurt terribly. Even though I tried to cast healing magic on it, I couldn’t heal it completely. Although the bleeding stopped, my flesh and bones remained gone. As long as I can survive, I’ll likely last for the time being, even if I leave it like this. But, it’ll become a burden when facing the saint again.
Maybe I should go back to the Penny Empire and get it healed.
No, that’s out of the question. I decided that I’d definitely judge that woman. There’s absolutely no way for me to let the woman, who stole his home, go scot-free. I’ll catch her, even if it costs me my life.
Now that my opponent is likely negligent since she’s taking me lightly is the perfect moment to launch a follow-up attack. I don’t have any spare time to lose on slowly curing my body. Above all, his standing in the Penny Empire is getting worse by the minute.
“……”
Condemning the saint; that’s the sole thing I can do for him. Not only once, but twice I did something terrible to him. As such, there’s merit in my exhausting this body for his sake.
“…Yes, that’s right, isn’t it?”
Having decided this, I’ll think about my next plan. The part I have to consider urgently is the question of how to neutralize the saint’s power. If I believe her words, she can beat a high orc to death with her fists. That’s definitely not a strength you’d expect from a saint.
Bindings going beyond rope will be necessary to invalidate her strength. I suppose anything less than handcuffs will be pointless.
“In that case, I don’t have any choice but to rely on a magic tool…”
Magic tools that can seal a target’s physical abilities and mana are relatively common on the market. Even the necklace I was told to wear at home by Papa is one of that sort. Depending on the grade, some of them will even weaken a target so much they won’t be able to stand on their own legs. And the price scales with the power of the item.
The most powerful magic tool among those I saw in the past costs around 1,000 Penny gold. It’s heralded as being able to even seal a dragon’s power. I remember it was traded by my father and disappeared somewhere.
I also want to be teased by him while wearing such a magic tool. If it’s him, I wouldn’t mind having my hands and legs plucked off either. Moreover, I want to be treated as nothing more than a tool for him to relieve his sexual desires.
“I guess I have no option but to search for this.”
It’s possible to block a target’s physical abilities and mana with your own magic as well. But, if I consider the earlier encounter, I’d say the saint exceeds me in magic skill. It’s impossible for an inferior magician to seal the magic of a superior magician. Therefore, I have to prepare a magic tool.
I doubt that a place like the Great Holy Land lacks this type of magic tool. I hear they’re actively used during interrogations of heretics. I have no doubt I’ll easily find one or two such tools, if I search the treasury of church facilities. It’ll become a bit of a detour, but this much is inevitable.
“…Let’s go, huh?”
With my future plans sorted, I got up. Suddenly, at the same moment, a sound filled the room. No sooner than I heard a creaking from the door, which was barely hanging in its hinge, something green showed up beyond the opened entrance.
The light pouring into the room through the windows was the sole light source in this place. The shadow of someone, who was somewhat smaller than a person, extended into the dim room.
“rh…”
The shadow’s owner was a goblin. Two of them, on top of that. Both peered in my direction.
“……”
Very likely they’ve been using this deserted house as their base. But, there’s no reason for me to panic. Nowadays I can easily deal with goblins. They become a problem if there’s too many of them in the group, but two of them won’t take me any time.
“…bROthEr, hUMan, InJuREd,” one of the goblins said in front of me who was getting ready to use her magic at any moment.
It used human language.
“Huh…?”
It surprised me quite a bit. It was my first time meeting goblins who understood human speech. If I remember correctly, I learned at the academy that even creatures like goblins, orcs, and kobolds can acquire a certain level of intelligence, depending on their education. But, understanding human language is truly astounding.
“hUMan, tHAt InJuRY, wHAt HAPpenEd?”
“No, u-umm, this is…”
Thanks to that, I was struggling to answer coherently. What should I say here?
“bROthEr, InJuRY, hEaL.”
“…gOTcHa.”
One goblin said to the other. Maybe something’s wrong with my hearing? I feel like it just mentioned healing my injury──
“tg…”
Unrelated to my bewilderment, a magic circle appeared on the floor. Accompanied by a faint, gentle glow, it was a magic circle of healing without a doubt. Moreover, it was an extremely complex circle where it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to describe it as high-class. Even among church officials, only a few of the higher priests might be able to use such a magic.
“sTaY, STiLL. iT’s fINe. iT’s fINe.”
“W-What did you…”
I couldn’t move. I had realized that the goblins in front of me weren’t ordinary goblins at all.

Starting from the conclusion, my foot got completely restored. The healing magic applied by the goblin exhibited an effectiveness that didn’t allow any complaints, healing all my injuries in the blink of an eye. My shoe still remained lost, but there wasn’t even a single scar left on the skin on my foot. It looked just like before. Almost as if his healing magic had seen my foot before.
“Umm, t-thanks…”
“dOn’T woRRy. hElP eaCH otHER, iN TImEs oF nEeD.”
“hAVe aNY bAd paRTs?”
I never expected for a day to come when I’d be told that we help each other in times of need by a goblin. Thanks to that, I only felt surprise since a while ago now. I wonder, who are these people? I’ve never heard about goblins using high-level healing magic.
“No, I’m alright. Thanks to you, my body feels great.”
“gOoD.”
There was a change in the expression of the smaller goblin. To me it seemed like it was smiling. It didn’t look like that at all, but I just had such a feeling. And probably because of that, I naturally smiled back at the goblin as well.
“Seriously, thank you. You saved me there.”
“wE, HuManS, doN’T hATe.”
“R-Really?”
“yEa.”
“THerE aRE alL SoRTs of hUManS aNd GobLIns.”
Regardless of humans or goblins, personalities come at an infinite variety for both races, I guess. Not even in my wildest dreams did I expect that they come in contact with humans based on such deep considerations. On top of that, they’re even going out of their way for me like this.
Because of this, the stereotypes in my head were shattered to smithereens.
Goblins are amazing, aren’t they?
Probably owed to the circumstance, I naturally ended up asking, “By the way, is this here your home?”
I’d feel bed, if I used it without permission. However, the answer was slightly different from what I assumed.
“wROnG. tHiS plACe iS bEIng uSeD BY mY liTTlE broTHeR anD fRIEnDs.”
“HoUSe bUiLt by SoME hUMan.”
It sounds like this isn’t their home. But, that makes sense. If such powerful goblins lived in a forest close to the capital of the Great Holy Land, it’d have likely turned into a rumor, whether they like it or not. They probably came into this area because they have some sort of business here. Considering it like that, those two are in a position that’s not that different from mine, aren’t they?
“Do you have some business in this area?”
“yES.”
“sEArCHiNg jaR oF mAD wARiOr.”
“Jar of Mad Warrior?”
It seems like they’re looking for something, but it’s a term I’ve never heard before.
“sAVe pACk oF wEReWoLVes.”
“NeEd jaR oF mAD wARiOr fOr tHAt saKe.”
“I see.”
So they need a tool call Jar of Mad Warrior to save a settlement of werewolves. Even I know about werewolves. They’re demi-humans who are as tall as humans. On the other hand, it’s my first time to hear about such a jar.
“wE hEArD tHAt tHe jaR oF mAD wARiOr iN grEaT HOlY lAnD.”
“bIG BRo aNd I caME hErE to sEArCH fOr jaR oF mAD wARiOr.”
“BuT wE cAn’T fInD It.”
“grEaT HOlY lAnD bIg. wE doN’T kNOw lOCaTiON oF jaR oF mAD wARiOr.”
I was able to get a grasp on their situation much easier that I had expected.
At that point, I suddenly realized something.”
“In that case, can’t you and me work together?”
“wOrK toGEtHEr?”
“HuMan kNOw soMEtHINg?”
It’s very likely that the Jar of Mad Warrior which they’re looking for, and the magic tool I want can both be found in the central church located in the center of the Great Holy Land. It’s said their treasury stores a huge amount of items gathered by that country.
I never went into the church myself, but I know its rough location. If I can gain the goblins’ cooperation, it might become possible to step deep inside the church. They’ll be able to obtain the Jar of Mad Warrior and I’ll be able to get my hands on the magic tool.
“Just like you, I’ve come to the Great Holy Land to search for something.”
“HuMan, sEArCH?”
“sEArCHiNg, grEaT hOlY lAnD?”
“I have several ideas for places where that country keeps its valuables. How about we act together, if you like? I can’t promise you that we’ll find it definitely, but maybe we’ll find the Jar of Mad Warrior.”
“HuMan, goBLiN, oKaY?”
“yOu fINe wOrK wiTH uS?”
“Is it no option? It’s just a guess, but our destination might be the same anyway,” I suggested boldly.
Thereupon, both goblins looked at each other and nodded almost simultaneously. Because their behavior was so oddly human, I felt my chest being filled with warmth as I watched it happen right in front of me.
Their appearance is terrifying, but somehow I sensed them to be adorable.
“wE wOuLd lIKe wOrK toGEtHEr.”
“pLEaSe.”
“It is me who is more than happy about having your cooperation. Thank you.”
I’m sure everyone in the city would be startled if they heard about this.
With this and that, I proceeded to work together with the two goblins.
*
After having begun my cooperation with the goblins, I went back to the Great Holy Land once more. The two goblins were walking next to me with their bodies hidden by robes.
It was unthinkable for them to publicly expose their identities as goblins. Accordingly, I got them a new set of robes. It was the same type of robe as I was currently wearing. It had church symbols added to every key part. Luckily they wore the robes for me without showing any resistance.
Maybe they looked to others like young believers. At least no one in the Great Holy Land paid them any attention since many others wore similar outfits. If we’d worn the same robes in the Penny Empire, people would have looked suspiciously at us, though.
Either way, thanks to this, both goblins could walk through the city with me. By the way, currently it was the evening of the next day after I met them.
Spending the night in the dilapidated house after our talk, I headed to a different town next to the Great Holy Land during daytime. Over there I got a change of shoes and food alongside the robes for both of them. Then I went back to the dilapidated house and slept until the sun went down.
Because I was able to get a good sleep, my body was in perfect condition. If I had been by myself, I might not have been able to relax to such an extent.
“This way. It seems to be the huge building you can see over there.”
Guiding the goblins, I quickly proceeded along the city’s big street.
What soon came into sight was a church, prominent even in the Great Holy Land. It might rival the royal palace in Charis, the capital of the Penny Empire. The treasury underneath this church is relatively well-known. In short, it’s identical to the treasury in the Penny Empire’s palace.
“hOW, enTEr?”
“cAN wE ENteR jUSt lIkE thAt?”
“We’d get stopped if we tried it from the front. It’s necessary to somehow sneak into the building, but do you have a good plan? As long as we can do something about the guards, it should be possible to trespass into the building through the backdoor.”
There was also the option to find a gap in the guard protocol and jump into the building with flight magic. I resolved myself last night that it might result in a huge uproar.
However, one of the goblins told me, “sNEaK In, oKaY, leAvE iT To mE.”
“liTTlE sIsTEr, maGIc, sTrONg.”
“I-Is that so? Then I’ll count on her, I guess…”
By the way, according to what I heard on the way here, the little sister is the goblin who healed my injury. The other one is her big brother. The little sister is good at magic while her brother specializes in swordsmanship. Each of them told me about the other.
They’re a well-balanced party.
*
Starting with the conclusion, we were easily able to infiltrate the treasure vault. All of it was owed to the goblins. They possessed strength and abilities that went far beyond what I’d expected.
For example, the spells used by the little sister made guards fall asleep at times, confused knights at other times, and generally secured our route to the treasury. Moreover, astonishingly all of her spells were cast without chanting. Someone like me would be no match for her.
Furthermore, even if we had an unforeseen encounter which developed into battle, the big brother put on a display of fine swordsmanship. He slew all the veteran Holy Knights of the Great Holy land with one slash. His sword skill was anything but normal. At the very least, a swordsman of Allen’s level would likely be unable to do anything against him.
Thanks to all that, I’ve been overwhelmed. In addition, I felt bad for not doing anything worth being called assistance after accompanying them. I didn’t do anything other than quietly following them around. And to go even further, we reached our destination without giving the situation enough time to turn into that much of an uproar.
The tightly shut door of the church’s treasury was opened by the little sister’s magic. What appeared beyond were the gold and silver treasures that could be counted as pride of the Great Holy Land.
“I had imagined that it would be some, but I didn’t expect that it would be this much, I must admit.”
A room as spacious as the party hall in the FitzClarence mansion located in Charis was cramped with a huge amount of treasures, magic tools, and art. I wonder just how much money you’d receive, if you were to liquidate all of this. I can’t even begin to imagine it.
The sorting looks very thorough as well. Each and every item was neatly exhibited in one of the shelves set up across the room in well-measured intervals. A small plate affixed to the shelf described under each item its name and what sort of item it was. This part was no different from the treasury back home.
“hErE, jaR oF mAD wARiOr?”
“I cannot promise you that, but I think it’s highly likely.”
The building we trespassed was an extremely important location in the Great Holy Land. When it comes to this treasury, it should store quite important items, too. I don’t know what sort of item it is they’re looking for, but if I consider the extraordinary background of goblins, who are extremely strong, searching for it desperately, I feel like the chance to find it here is much higher than other places.
“Let’s split up and search for it.”
“gOt IT.”
“I, sEArCH, oVeR heRE.”
I confirmed the general appearance of the jar with them yesterday. After splitting up, I went around, checking the treasury.
Moreover, at the same time I couldn’t afford to forget searching for a magic item to seal the power of the saint. However, that was something I found relatively easily. Because the demand for sealing things was fairly high, many of such items were circulating on the market. Once I toured the shelves a bit, I quickly managed to obtain a suitable item.
It was a magic collar. Its description mentioned that you could seal the power of your target by putting it on the target’s body. It appeared to be an item stemming from a considerably old era, apparently having been created around 500 years ago by a magician of that time to seal a high-ranking demon.
Coupled with that collar, I also got several tools that looked like they’d be useful for defeating the saint. Since I had the opportunity, I didn’t hold back at all. The resentment towards the woman, who had tricked him, had become a far bigger driving force within me than the worry about my position as a noble.
As I was searching and picking up stuff, voices could be heard from another place.
“fOUnD iT. bIg bRo, fOUnD it!”
“REalLY?”
It sounds like they also found what they’ve been looking for. I ran in the direction of their voices.
Thereupon I spotted the little sister holding a little jar, which was around as big as a funeral urn, in a corner of the treasury. I could also see her brother right next to her. Both were closely staring at the item in her hands.
It was a jar with an exterior that was more worn-out than I had thought. Its mouth was tightly plugged with a lid. In addition, something like animal skin was spanned over the lid and the mouth section was on top of that firmly tied up with a rope. Maybe something is inside the jar.
“jaR oF mAD wARiOr, fOUnD. wE fOUnD IT!”
“WiTH tHiS, sAVe, wERewOlVeS.”
Up until now I wasn’t able to read their emotions from their expressions. But, even a human like me could tell from their voices that they were happy.
Eventually, after rejoicing for a bit, the siblings noticed that I had run up to them and looked my way. And then they curtly bowed their heads at me. What followed next were heartfelt, honest words of gratitude.
“tHAnk yOu. vErY biG hELp.”
“tHAnk yOu, tHAnk yOu. inCREdiBLy hAPpY.”
“No, I have to thank you two for saving and helping me.”
It’s great that we could all get the items we sought. I felt quite relieved about this. If we hadn’t found the items over here, I had planned to guess other locations and head there. Depending on the circumstances, it’d require up to several days, I estimated. For this very reason, I was likewise extremely happy about discovering everything at the first location.
“gObLIn, taKE tHiS, hEAd to wEReWoLVes pACk.”
“hUMaN, wHAt wIlL yOu dO?”
“I also got my hands on what I wanted, so I’ll go and wrap up my unfinished business in this country.”
If I could secure their cooperation, I might be able to capture the saint with even more certainty. She had displayed a might that would overpower even high orcs, but the power of these siblings exceeded hers by far.
But, they had their own urgent matter to take care of. It’d be wrong of me to trouble them any further with my own matters. Besides, I wanted to judge that woman with my own two hands. If possible, I’d like to slowly cut off her head with a dull knife.
“Are you fine with the location of the werewolf settlement? If you need, I’ll check it.”
“wEReWoLVes, kNoW. goBLiNs cAMe hErE frOm tHeRE.”
“hUMan, wHErE go? sTAy iN tHiS cITy?”
“Yes, correct. I will stay in this city and head to the saint.”
“sAInT?”
“The woman serving as representative of this country. She’s the enemy of many humans.”
“hUMan, dO yOuR bESt. goBLiNs rOoT fOR YoU.”
“hUMan, dO yOuR bESt. I sURe yOu caN defEAT sAInT.”
“Thanks, I’m very happy to hear you say that.”
I’d never thought I’d witness a day when I’d receive encouragement from goblins. If it was before meeting him, I might have looked down on them for just being goblins. As a matter of fact, I adopted an extremely bad attitude towards the high elf close to him during the time of my amnesia.
As I thought, he’s akin to a guiding principle in my life.
Come to think of it, Sophia has been collecting the trash can in his room, hasn’t she? Just stuffing my face into that can and repeatedly inhaling the scent was a great pleasure for me. If it contained his discharge at an off-chance, I want to insert it deep into myself.
“hUMan, gIvE yOu tHiS.”
“…A Penny gold coin?”
The older brother held out something to me. On a closer look, I noticed that it was a Penny gold coin.
“pREviOuSly, gOt fROm hUMan.”
“Human?”
“yES, hUMan.”
“gOt fROm hUMan.”
“sAiD hIs nAMe TaNAka.”
“Eh…?”
Hearing that name pass their lips, my chest started to thump so strongly that it hurt. It was the name of the person I cherished above anything else. I wonder why they know that name. Could they possibly be acquainted with him?
“TaNAka sAiD. gIVe thiS.”
“sAiD tO giVe tHiS tO truSTaBle hUMan.”
“Do you two know him?”
“GobLIn knOw TaNAka.”
“hUMan, kNoW TaNAka?”
“Yes, I-I know him. He’s a very important person for me.”
“tHEn, plEAsE aCcEpT tHis. tAnAkA sAiD sO.”
“tAnAkA, bENefACtOr. hE sAVeD me.”
“……”
I’d have never dreamed to hear his name out of the mouth of goblins. Probably because of that, I naturally extended my arm, receiving the Penny gold offered to me by the big brother.
It was an ordinary gold coin. I don’t know what intention he had in giving this to those two siblings. But, if those two, who interacted with him, are entrusting me with something they received from him upon his instruction, I must accept this. And I have a duty to get it back safely to the Penny Empire and report back to him.
This means I’ve received another important mission.
It might be a tiny connection, but it’s unmistakably a connection with him. I can feel how I’m actually alive.
“Thanks. I’ll definitely deliver it to him.”
“tHAnk yOu. goBLiN, hapPy.”
“pLEasE gIvE oUr grEEtInGS tO tAnAkA.”
“Yes, of course. I will make sure to pass on your greetings!”
Now that it’s come to this, I must return alive to the Penny Empire by all costs. Even though it’s not like I drank any alcohol, I felt my body’s core heat up.
*
After parting with the goblins, I was alone again. Me feeling somewhat sad despite us having only stayed together for two nights was probably because they possessed such outstanding, virtuous characters. Virtuous enough for me to hope that I can talk with them once more, if I ever find the opportunity.
By the way, currently the treasure of the central church was burning brightly. I had set it on fire while leaving. Thanks to that, I managed to clear my resentment towards the saint a bit. I think I might be able to deal with her in a slightly calmer manner from now on.
And, having obtained the magic tool, I headed for the saint’s mansion once again.
It’d be a lie if I said that I didn’t feel uneasy. She was an opponent I had lost to just the other day. But, this time I wouldn’t be careless and furthermore, I prepared myself much better this time around. On top of the weapons and magic tools I procured at the treasury, I was convinced that I’d defeat her, even if we were to duke it out.
But, the owner of the mansion was absent. Once I tied up the head maid and questioned her, she told me that the saint had left the city.
It’s not very saint-like to walk around so late in the night, is it?
Just as I harbored such a question, I suddenly remembered that the welcome towards guests of the Great Holy Land was extremely famous among the nobles of foreign countries. It was especially popular among male nobles.
Maybe she’s currently attending to this in person.
“……”
My wish of servicing him someday is currently nothing more than a fleeting dream. Just once would be fine. I want to fill my womb with his seed. No, I won’t request something as extravagant as having his child. I won’t mind even if he showers me with just his piss. I’d like to feel its warmth on my skin.
Ah, no good. Now’s not the time to delve in delusions.
This indecent woman focused her mind once more and headed into the city at night.
*
I wandered through the city, searching for the store mentioned to me by the head maid. The day was about to change anytime soon, yet downtown was as lively as during daytime. No wonder though, seeing how the Great Holy Land boasted the biggest pleasure quarter in the vicinity. However, most of its establishments were set up to cater to a part of the upper class with the nobles taking the lead.
I was also walking in one such area. It was a block that barred entry for commoners. I’m pretty sure any pious believer would be shocked if they knew the real state of the Great Holy Land. My surprise was also quite big, back when I got an explanation from Papa. At the same time, I was told to always stay away from that place and remain cautious about the Great Holy Land at all times.
Considering how I was violating those very teachings right now, I felt quite moved. If possible, I’d like to eradicate this country alongside the soul and body of the saint.
“That maid told me that it’d be around here, but…”
I proceeded through the streets at night while recalling the words of the head maid. Most of the pedestrians were male nobles and rich merchants. Blended in among those were prostitutes who stood at the fronts of stores.
I, on the other hand, was fully clad in a robe. As I stuck out like a sore thumb, I felt people repeatedly casting fleeting glances at me. It wasn’t really all that fun.
The looks he sent my way scorched my body to the extent of making me moan, and yet why does it feel so different when having the same attention directed at me by other people? Whenever I felt his eyes on my chest and nether region, I got an urge to push him down then and there.
“……”
After a while of walking through the streets, I could hear busy noises from the direction I was heading towards. it was the rattling of carriages as they drove along the streets. Once I directed my eyes in front of me, I saw a carriage approaching me at a high speed.
What caught my eye here was the crest carved onto the vehicle. If my memories don’t fail me, it’s the crest of the saint, the pride of the Great Holy Land. In short, the owner of that carriage was that woman――
“gh…”
The carriage drove past me as I drew aside to the side of the road. As it did, I could see the face of someone I recalled through the window ―― the saint.
It lasted but a split second, yet I managed to catch a glimpse of her profile. And that moment was more than enough for me to make a decision.
“Fireball!”
My body moved by itself in the next instant. I unleashed my magic at full throttle at the carriage that had just passed me.
The cluster of flames, which was born in no time, flew towards the rear of the vehicle as it kept gaining distance from me. It was a blow that couldn’t be criticized when it came to power and speed. Something like a wooden carriage had no chance whatsoever.
Hit by my fireball, the carriage exploded on the bustling street.
“……”
It’s not like I didn’t feel anything while gazing at the burning carriage. But, now that I had done this, it couldn’t be changed either way.
Besides, my opponent is his enemy after all. Even if she croaked there, it’d be no issue. No, it’s just proper for her to die.
But, if she was someone who would kick the bucket from something like this, I wouldn’t need to go through all this trouble in the first place.
I watched the blazing carriage without lowering my guard. After a while, movement could be seen within the carriage’s box as it slowly lost its shape while devoured by the flames.
“…Who was it that shot magic at my carriage?”
A figure appeared from the flames. That figure drew closer in my direction, step by step. With the flames in her back, her figure looked like a black shadow, making it seem as though the demon queen instead of the saint had shown up.
The present passerby focused their attention on us after witnessing the chain of disturbances.
“I came here to arrest you. Resolve yourself, okay?”
“If you had been a good girl and run away just like that, I would have spared your life, I think…”
The saint’s eyes were fixated on me across the billowing smoke. Her clothes were burning after catching fire. But, without minding this at all, she slowly proceeded in my direction. Looking at her like this, I could perfectly understand the abnormal nature of my opponent. She didn’t seem to be a normal human whatsoever.
Logically, I couldn’t allow such a person to bustle around him. I have to kill her quickly. I must kill this woman and take her head back to the Penny Empire.
“It seemed like you were driving your horses quite a bit. Did something happen, I wonder?”
“It seems like someone set my country’s treasury on fire.”
“My condolences. It’d be nice if nothing important was stolen from you.”
It sounds like the fire I laid was still continuing to burn. Seeing the saint’s expression freeze, I felt my feelings clear up somewhat. Since I have this great opportunity, I should agitate her as much as possible. It’ll be great if I can mess up my opponent’s pace to some degree with this exchange.
“Don’t tell me, you have…”
“Now then, I wonder what you might be talking about?”
“rh…”
Reacting to my words, her face transformed into that of an enraged demon. It’s such a waste for her adorable looks.
However, that expression lasted but a moment. The looks around us probably forced her to conduct herself as saint. She apparently plans to take me on as saint of the Great Holy Land. And the emotions I could take a peek at just now are likely part of her true nature.
“…V-Very well. I’ll make you regret ever being born.”
“Wouldn’t it be better for you to hurry? The flames are rising from inside the treasury.”
“You damn lass!”
The saint made her move. Just as she kicked off the ground, starting to run, she already approached right in front of me. It was an attack based on the acceleration of a wyvern.
Moreover, the approaching fist would cleanly hit my face.
The me of yesterday night would have likely been sent flying in the next moment. If the story about high orcs and so on, which I heard during our fight two days ago, is true, I have no doubt that she’d blow off my head with one punch.
But, it’s not like I appeared in front of her without any means to deal with her.
In the next moment, a powerful, heavy impact could be heard. My opponent’s fist felt a hard resistance from my forehead.
“Wh-…”
“This is all you can do with your fists?”
I’m sure a smile must be showing on my lips right now. The saint has widened her eyes in shock.
I drove my fist at full power into her abdomen.
“gh!?”
Receiving an unexpected blow, vomit splashed out of my enemy’s mouth. She probably ate her dinner just a little while ago. Pieces of meat and vegetables flew out while still retaining their shape, sullying my body as I stood right in front of her.
It’s good that I’m wearing a robe as I can feel the disgusting warmth of her vomit through the fabric.
“You shouldn’t waste food like this, you know?”
“W-Why…?”
“Who knows. I wonder why?”
It’s thanks to the magic the younger sister cast on me when I parted with the goblins. She said it’s going to drastically enhance my physical abilities. In reality, my skin wouldn’t receive a scratch, even if I was to be hit by the sword of a holy knight.
If I believe her explanation, I currently possess physical ability that would allow me to stand my ground even when hit by a red dragon. However, the spell’s effect lasts only one day. It’s necessary for me to catch and restrain the saint with the magic tool within that time frame.
“Ugh…”
The saint leaped back to take some distance from me. But, there’s absolutely no way I’ll let her get away. I mean, I still haven’t had my fill of punching her.
“W-Wait! Let us talk this over, okay!?”
“Sorry, but I don’t have any interest in that.”
“Hiii…”
Making my body float with flight magic, I soared towards her. And then I hit her snout with all my might.
“Gyaaa…”
Considering that she’s his archenemy, the sensation I felt from my fist was pure bliss. I grabbed her collar as she lay on the ground and put the magic collar around her neck. It clicked shut, sealing her much quicker and easier than I expected.
There’s a key for this collar, but I placed it on the tip of my tongue and swallowed it down.
“Don’t tell me…t-this is…”
Noticing the foreign object around her own neck, the saint’s face turned pale.
“It’s far from over yet, you know? I must punish you for troubling him.”
“gh…”
Being able to do work for his sake is pure happiness for me. I can do anything, if it’s for him. I want to do anything, if it’s for him. I’m sure I’m currently revealing a very happy smile.
*
When I came to my senses, people had gathered around me. I had continued punching the saint’s face for a very long time while straddling her. Now I could see the state of the passerby who were basically surrounding us. It seems like I suffered from tunnel vision while enjoying beating her up.
Thanks to that, I apparently found myself to be on something like the stage of a street performer.
On the other hand, speaking of the saint in question, she was gasping underneath me. Her cute face was a mere shadow of its former appearance. Now it was swelling like a crooked, bumpy potato. Probably because I had grabbed her hair with one hand, I now had the pleasure to see a bald patch on her head.
Isn’t he looking just lovely right now? This much is perfectly fitting for this woman.
“You’ve become rather very quiet, haven’t you?”
“……”
“Where did all that spunk from the beginning go?”
“a…u…”
I could tell that she was still breathing from her chest faintly moving up and down. I mean, I wouldn’t have minded even if she died here, but it’s no problem if she’s alive either. Just as planned initially, I’ll take her back to the Penny Kingdom. And there I’ll have her comprehend the weight of the crimes she committed while revealing the truth in front of a much bigger crowd.
“Hey, you lot! What is this disturbance!?”
“Look at this! Isn’t that Saint-sama’s carriage!?”
“Why is Saint-sama’s carriage on fire!?”
“Her knight escort is down! What happened!?”
It sounds like the military police have arrived. Overstaying my visit any longer would be bad. Right now, I likely wouldn’t lose even if it came to battle. But, my opponents would be normal soldiers. They’re sincerely serving their country without knowing anything about the saint’s evil deeds. It’d be wrong to hurt them unnecessarily.
This woman is the only person I wanted to beat up.
“Let’s go.”
“S-S-Stop…please…”
I made the saint limply float with my flight magic. She tried to resist with her remaining strength, but I left that place by fleeing into the sky without paying any heed to her resistance.

After seizing the saint in the business district, I fled the city with flight magic. There was definitely a considerable number of pursuers on my tail, but I was able to get away safely by gaining a good distance. The part of me having the saint as hostage played a big part in this as well. The pursuers couldn’t fully employ their offensive spells against me as it’d endanger the saint. One after the other crashed on the ground.
Around the time when I had outrun my pursuers, the sky was already brightening, but this couldn’t be helped. Eventually, when the situation around me became calm and peaceful, I returned to the dilapidated house, the place where I had met the goblins two days ago.
The house hid a magic circle for returning to the Penny Empire over there. I had drawn the spell formula forming the circle, but the little sister had provided the magic circle with her mana. Yesterday evening she provided her mana as an act of goodwill.
Thanks to that, I could use space magic on my way back, just as I had used it on the way here. The Penny Empire was basically just a stone throw away.
“W-What do you plan to do with me…?”
That question came from the corner of the room. The voice’s owner was the saint.
Currently she was lying on the dilapidated house’s ground while chained up in a bamboo mat. She had probably recovered her strength after having rested for a bit. She had become somewhat more energetic when compared to the time directly after my escape from the city. Her not being a pain thanks to that was a big plus during the escape.
“We’re going back to the Penny Empire. Over there you will be judged by me.”
“What do you mean by ‘judged’? What did I do…?”
“Even if you play dumb at this point, it’s just a waste of time.”
“I mean it! What am I supposed to have done!?”
Her grit to not give up even in this situation is quite something. But, I know everything.
“I have already heard that you tricked him――Baron Tanaka of the Penny Empire. You raised your voice to complain about him in person, going even as far as putting pressure on His Majesty, didn’t you? You also made up some pretty terrible stories there.”
“gh…”
The saint’s face froze when I mentioned his name. As I thought. This woman is wicked. Pure evil.
“That’s wrong! The reason for all of this is him having attacked me and…”
I interrupted my work of checking the state of the magic circle and stood up. My body moved instinctively when he was being insulted and ridiculed.
“Shut up.”
“rh…”
When I came to, I had already kicked the saint’s face with the tip of my toes. I could vividly feel the hard feedback through my shoe as her nasal bones broke.
“I know him the best. What do you think you know? Even if he really attacked you, it should have been nothing more than a proper response to you attacking him first. Got it? His words are always correct. They are to prioritize over anyone else’s words. Understood?”
Somehow the events over the last few days have improved my mood. This chain of action has hastened the thumping in my chest.
“W-Wait, stop, d-don’t k-kick me…I’ll die…”
“It’s your fault for saying weird stuff, you know?”
“…You…a-are crazy…your head is messed up…”
“You’re distracting me, so stay silent for a bit. I’m checking the magic circle right now.”
If I hear any more slander directed at him, I’ll likely end up killing that woman. I’ve gone out of my way to bring her here while alive, so I’d like to at least drag her in front of His Majesty. I’m sure His Majesty will have no choice but to believe him, once he confirms the situation with the saint herself.
In such a case, he’ll be able to be a baron of the Penny Empire once again. And I’ll be able to spend happy days by gazing at him from a distance.
“…I’m done checking, so we’re going back to the Penny Empire now.”
I’ve confirmed that there’s no mistakes between the actual formula on the ground and the drawings inside the notebook in my hand. Given that I had already checked it before having it charged with mana, I think it’ll be alright.
Lord Fahren was with me during the journey to the Great Holy Land. Because it’s a return trip that I drew up myself, I’d like to make sure that everything is as safe about its usage as possible.By the way, it seems like the magic circle will disappear alongside its activation.
As expected of Lord Fahren: this is an outstanding piece of work.
“I have a request. Please listen to my story. It’s true. There is no fault to be found with the Great Holy Land and me. If you wish, I will guarantee your and his position in my name as saint. I will even offer you higher positio――gyaa…”
“You’re annoying, okay? Hurry up and get on the magic circle.”
“……”
Once I kicked her chin lightly, the saint fainted. I dragged her limp body atop the magic circle.
She’s a woman causing trouble for others to the very last moment.
“…Just a bit longer…just a bit longer and I’ll be able to meet with him again.”
Even though we’ve been separated for only a few days, it feels like we haven’t seen each other for an awfully long time. As his figure appeared in my mind, I felt a throbbing as if the core of my body was heating up. In no time, my pussy got slightly wet.
I frantically suppressed those rash feelings and activated the space magic.
*
The destination for the transfer was my home in Charis. From there I used flight magic, hurrying to the palace. The reason for my hurry was the conversation I had overheard from the people at my home right after I got back.
According to them, he was attending the palace together with Papa today. It wasn’t clear why he’d go there, but I couldn’t afford to ignore it either way. A commoner who had lost his peerage being granted an audience with His Majesty gave me nothing but bad vibes. So I had to act. Right away. I’m going to save him from his predicament.
“gh…T-This place is…”
“The imperial palace of Penny.”
“Wh-…!?”
The saint had woken up as I advanced through the hallways. She was still wrapped up in a bamboo mat while following me as a floating bundle.
“Do you seriously plan to hand me over!? Do you think you will be safe by doing something like that? All that’s waiting for you is to be captured instead! Please reconsider! Even the FitzClarence family won’t get away with this unscathed, you know!?”
“I’m sorry, but stay silent for a bit.”
“gh…”
I gagged her mouth as she was getting annoying. I’d like her to not flap her yap about weird stuff inside the palace. I’m already drawing more than enough attention as is.
I’ve been stopped countless times on my way to the audience hall ever since arriving at the palace. I proceeded through all of these with force, using fireballs many times over. But, all of it was inevitable. I mean, it’s for his sake.
It’s okay. I held back properly, so I didn’t kill anyone. It’s no problem.
For the act of investing all your effort for the sake of someone else to be so wonderful…it’s almost as if I’m looking at a world different from the one until yesterday.
“Please wait, Elisabeth-sama!” “The audience hall is beyond this!” “An audience is already in progress!” “Please halt! A great number of nobles gathered there!” “I beg you, please reconsider and give up on proceeding further!” “Elisabeth-sama!”
I advanced while ignoring the imperial guards behind me. Eventually I arrived in front of the huge door leading into the audience hall. I could sense the presence of people on the other side.
Having a big audience will be convenient. If I don’t rush in now and here, when will I do it?
“I beg you, Elisabeth-sama!” “Please, wait!” “For the sake of the FitzClarence family! Please stop!” “Are you going to sadden your own father!?” “Elisabeth-sama! I’m begging you, so please go back!”
I felt like the guards’ voices sounded somewhat distant. I energetically opened the huge door with both hands, causing it to fly open with a bang.

Just as predicted, the audience hall was packed with many nobles. And in the middle of them all was he. What a handsome man he is.
“E-Excuse me!”
Thanks to him, my voice ended up trembling. I hope I wasn’t weird just now. I pray that I’m at least reflected as a competent woman in his eyes.
Feeling his look on me, I felt how I started to sweat across my whole body.
“…L-Liz?” Father addressed me.
Usually it’d be impossible for me to ignore him and continue like this. But today I was on fire. My blood was pumping. I couldn’t suppress the thumping of my heart in front of my beloved.
“Mmhn! Mmhn! Mmhn!”
I didn’t care about the saint’s groans full of agony. All that mattered was him. He alone.
Yeah, he’s here. I can hear his voice and breathing. What a bliss.
“Your Majesty! I have brought the cause of all the crimes in front of you!”
At the same time as I announced this with a loud and clear voice, my body slowly and quietly reached its climax.
