For the girls and guys who are surviving on their own, it’s literally their dearest wish to return home at once. But, for those who have started to form a group in one way or another, this is going to turn into poison.
If one person tries to steal a march on the group, their whole unity will collapse like a card house, and it’ll very likely develop into a fight over the Right-to-Return.
Assuming one person returns, the remaining group members will probably join up again, forgetting how they tried to pull each other’s legs just recently, and not knowing when the next event of a similar kind might start.

Just as Shion predicted, it wasn’t a forced clear. You can choose the return time after acquiring it. If it had been forced, we would have no choice but to ignore this event.
The special conditions to return home while keeping the Memories and Abilities acquired on this island are currently unknown. But, we’re aiming for those. I’d like to secure a method to return to Japan, but I’d be troubled if it were right away.
But since the reward for this event was only the right to return, we can aim for it without any reservations.

The two girls were having a normal conversation, but to me it looked as if sparks were flying back and forth between them.

Shouko and Minori, the pair who aren’t accustomed to cooking, said something. Then again, I belong in the same category as them…
I wonder whether it’s okay for us to act so normally, even after information about the Right to Return appeared.
…No, I guess that’s wrong. Although it was surprising, everyone understands that it’s unnecessary to be shaken by this. No one among us would return home while leaving the other four behind. And thus, it doesn’t really matter which of us acquires the Right-to-Return either. We will just keep them until we have enough for everyone, and know the method to go back while keeping our memories and abilities.
