Chapter 34 – Self-Restraint and Aroma

Now then, the morning of the third day has started. I’m honestly happy to be wrapped up under the blanket together with Chiyu, but I could smell the bad stench the second I woke up.
Any guy would know this; the stench drifting far and wide from the liquid released by yourself.
As soon as I got out of my bed, I threw open the window to ventilate the room. Our clothes and the bedding would be just fine as long as I swapped them in and out of my Inventory, but the same couldn’t be said about Chiyu and I.
“Sou-kun…”
“Morning, Chiyu. And sorry…”
My childhood-friend revealed her birthday suit as she sat up while rubbing her eyes. Naturally my eyes were drawn to her two drooping, ripe fruits, but there I noticed something crusty sticking to her skin.
After sniffing the air, Chiyu said, “…It might be slightly off from your fetishes, Sou-kun, but I feel like crying out that it stinks so bad.”
I was startled by her being so spot on about my fetishes. Especially the feeling of her not really disliking it despite saying that it stinks made me somewhat believe that I was being accepted.
“For starters, let’s wipe our bodies with towels. Afterwards, you…need a bath, I’d say.”
Well, I need one as well, but Chiyu needs it a lot more.
I took a bucket with water and towels out of my Inventory and we wiped our bodies. Then I cleaned our clothes by swapping them in and out of my Inventory. I did the same to the bedding as well.
With this, everything looked clean at a glance and the bad stench had mostly dissipated by now as well.
By the way, Chiyu can disinfect things by using 『Purify』, but everyone prefers to take a bath. Well, you don’t enter a bath just for the sake of cleaning your body and I don’t hate bathing either, so it’s fine. Anyway, Chiyu probably wants to take a bath.
She cast 『Purify』 on my room. Because of that, my bedroom became so sterile and clean that no one would believe me if I told them about yesterday’s filthy mess. I’m truly thankful for our skills and magic.
“Are we going downstairs together? We can enter the bath right away.”
“Nn, we might as well take a bath together. It’s going to reduce the time needed.”
“Ri-…Right. But the bathroom is still not finished, you know?”
“It’s going to be plenty, if there’s a bathtub.”
“Okay, you got a point.”
First I sneaked out of the room, and only when I confirmed that no one was in the hallway, I beckoned over Chiyu. Once we left our room, we only had to worry about tricking anyone we might suddenly bump into.
“Sou-kun, I don’t think we’ll be able to hide this,” Chiyu pointed out calmly.
“…I know.”
“Besides, it’s nothing that needs to be hidden either.”
“…Maybe so, but still…”
“Or, do you want to hide it?”
“No, it’s a very auspicious thing for me, so I don’t feel any desire to hide it.”
“That’s great to hear,” Chiyu replied, her voice filled with relief.
“But, I still feel somewhat bad about walking around while boldly showing off.”
“That’s very like you.”
We went downstairs and headed to the bathroom. Having said that, it’d be outside since it was slated to be an open-air bath.
I deployed the partitioning screens and paved the floor with the stone plates I had manufactured out of 『Building Stones』. Given that I used my 『Deploy』 function to lay them out, it wasn’t overly difficult. And because their surface was flat, it didn’t hurt to walk on them either.
Next I deployed the bathtub. Then I deployed the remaining hot water from yesterday inside the tub. Although I call it remaining hot water, all the small dirt particles and hair has been lost at the time of storing it, so it’s plain, pure water. Because I had entered the bath after the four girls, you couldn’t call it piping hot anymore, but it was at the perfect temperature for washing your body.
While being nervous at Chiyu boldly taking off her clothes, we washed ourselves with soap and washed the foam away with hot water.
“A morning bath sure is nice, but if we take too long, Shio-chan’s breakfast will be ready.”
Shion had been inaugurated as head chef, making her single-handedly responsible for all our food. Of course, we’d help her if she needed more hands and it wasn’t as though people wanting to work together with her were forbidden from doing so.
“T-True. We were able to wash our bodies, so I guess we can get out.”
Chiyu gently grabbed my hand, “But it looks like the trooper down there has a different opinion.”
“Ugh.”
My dick had reacted to me seeing Chiyu’s naked body.
“Want to get in for a bit after all?”
Chiyu asked while pushing up her own chest. She probably said this while meaning both bath and boobs.
“…Yeah, let’s do that.”
“Alright. Sit down at the edge, Sou-kun.”
When I sat down at the rim of the bath, it looked like I was taking a footbath. Chiyu entered the water between my legs and brought her breasts close.
“You’re not tired of it despite me having done it so much yesterday?”
“I probably won’t get tired of it for the rest of my life.”
Chiyu looked as if she was faintly smiling.
“That takes a stone off my heart. I’ll do this for you for my whole life then.”
Afterwards I released two loads as we had to hurriedly get out when Shion came to look for us.

Today’s breakfast consisted of grilled mushrooms and soup. I stored the meat in my Inventory out of fear that it could rot, but because I was making out in the bath with Chiyu, Shion couldn’t ask me to take it out in time, resulting in this vegetarian menu.
“S-Sorry, everyone…!”
I apologized to my friends at the dinner table in the living room.
“No, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it. I should have asked you much earlier. Besides, we have akebia fruits as dessert, so it’s more than enough for a breakfast on an uninhabited island.”
Shion said all this while smiling wryly, but…although I had remembered that she’d prepare the breakfast, the matter with the meat completely slipped my mind.
“I-It’s not like a m-morning bath is a problem or anything l-like that…”
“I came to terms with it in my own way after I yesterday received an explanation during our girls’ talk, but…you see…I’m wondering whether it wouldn’t be better to be a bit more moderate about this or so…”
Shouko and Minori’s faces were deep red.
“No, you’re right. I’ll be more careful about this. Seeing how we live together as a group, it’s bad if I cause trouble to my friends.”
Or rather, if I don’t show that level of constraint, I’ll become totally depraved.
“Sou-kun, you got this wrong,” Chiyu, whose skin was awfully glossy, objected while stuffing her cheeks with a mushroom.
“Hmm?”
“If you always worry about causing us trouble, it’ll lead to you becoming stressed. Of course, you should always aim for the best outcome, but even if you make a mistake, it’ll be fine as long as you reflect on it and change your ways accordingly.”
“Hehehe, that’s right. If it helps you get over it, how about you give us some sort of apology gift, Sousuke-kun?”
Shion said impishly, probably trying to stop me from blaming myself any further.
“Y-You have a point. Of course I’m going to pay attention from now on, but please allow me to somehow apologize for the trouble I caused this morning. If there’s anything you want me to do or craft for you, tell me.”
“Oki. Ingredients…we’ll definitely search for those during our exploration….oh! Right. I’d be happy if you could find something that could serve as an aroma.”
“Aroma? You mean like vanilla essence?”
Vanilla is a plant, so it might exist on this uninhabited island. Or it might be added in the future.
“Yep. That’s the idea. I can also use it to add flavor to my cooking. But what I actually want is essential oil that can be used to add floral aroma, I suppose.”
“Are you going to make perfume? But, doesn’t that require alcohol?”
“Oh, you were close! You see, I was thinking I sure would like to have soap with a scent.”
Shion put her hands together, saying it as if thinking about something she really desired. The other girls clearly reacted to her words.
“Oh, I get it. The ones we used in Japan certainly had scent or some such added to them.”
“The ones used at Sou-kun’s home were hand soap with citrus aroma and body soap with a faint floral trace.”
“I-I see. Thanks for telling us.”
For my childhood-friend to not only know about my fetishes, but also what soaps were used at my home is wild. Well, seeing how our families are close to each other, she should have had plenty of opportunities to learn about it.
“Since you can get it from fruits, herbs, trees, flowers, and so on, I think it will be possible to single out the usable one after finding out their details through Kuno-kun’s 『Itemization』. Ah…that is if you plan to make them, of course.”
Going by this reaction, Minori probably wants some as well. But, feeling ashamed of herself, she started to speak much faster towards the end while casting her face down.
“Alright. Sousuke, you and I’ll go together for today’s exploration. I’ll forgive you for this morning’s case with that. Well, it’s not like I’m angry or anything, but as long as it makes you feel better, why not.”
“Yeah, please let me do this.”
I’m going to search for something aromatic to meet Shion’s request and will distribute the finished soap to everyone. I’ll accompany Shouko on the exploration as part of her request.
“What about you, Minori?”
“Eh? T-Then, I’d like to have some soap as well…”
“No. I’m going to look for something aromatic in line of Shion’s request, but I plan to share the finished soap with all of you. So please ask for something else.”
“I-I see… I-In that case, I’d be happy if you could go together with me since I want to practice my magic. …I-I mean, look, maybe you’ll be able to Itemize something on that occasion…”
When I looked at her, Minori was cherishingly holding the wand I gave her yesterday.
“If you’re fine with something like that, I’ll gladly join you. We need plenty of wood too….but, I wonder whether you can’t somehow manage rocks and such with your magic as well, since I can’t store those as long as they’re buried in the ground…”
“Maybe I could break or cut them…? I will give it a thought.”
“I think that will be just fine, even if you only use them as a target. Please take care of it while practicing. Anyway, I’ll first go explore with Shouko. There I’ll look for aromatic things. And then I’ll practice magic together with Minori in the afternoon. How about that?”
“Sounds good.”
“Ah, should I make boar steak for lunch?”
Shion offered, choosing this timing when our discussion had concluded.
“Steak is great! Shii-chan, I love you for coming up with all these different ways to eat ingredients!”
The atmosphere in the room had returned to normal.
“Hehe. Ah, I forgot to mention this, but this living room is wonderful as well, Sousuke-kun.”
“Yeah, yeah! I was totally shocked when I came downstairs and found the sofas! It’s super homey!”
Yep, I had deployed sofas with wool cushions using a linen cover and a wooden frame.
“It’s also nice how so much light floods into the room thanks to the big windows.”
I’m happy about the popularity of our new home.
“I have a premonition that the 『As expected of Sou』 won’t stop today either.”
By the way, I naturally didn’t give an apology gift to my accomplice Chiyu. Well, it’s probably no problem since she’ll freely speak up if there’s anything she wants.
Actually I wanted to also talk about yesterday’s dream, but because of me, the chance to do so evaporated. We have already finished breakfast, so I guess it has to wait until lunch.
Fortunately, 『Water Places』 will be added today, so it’s going to have little impact on our lives.
And thus we started into our third day on the island after this and that happening.
