Chapter 3 – Battle Tournament (2nd)

The next day, the tournament finally headed into the main round after having shrunken the number of participants through the preliminaries. The stands of the arena were already packed with spectators. All seats were completely sold out, and looking around, I could furthermore spot people watching while standing. A lot more spectators have entered the arena than our initial estimates predicted. According to Sophia-chan, all the lodging facilities outside the arena are basically booked out to the brim.

As I let my eyes casually wander across the venue, I spotted people holding something like tokens every now and then. When I asked Gon-chan to confirm since I was bothered by them having all the same design, I learned that unofficial betting tickets had apparently been handed out.

The main round’s participants had been decided during the previous two days. Those who were present at the preliminary venue probably had memorized the names of the main round participants before going back home.

Since it has gone as far as such gambling making its appearance, I guess it’s fine to consider the event as a whole a success. All that’s left is to make Hero of the West-sama the champion and finish with a bang.

“Thank you very much to all those who have taken some time out of their busy schedule to gather here.”

This ordinary Japanese flat-face took the liberty to make a speech on the central stage of the main round’s fighting ring.

That’s because I’m the host and umpire for the main round. Considering the overall objective of this tournament, this is something I couldn’t give up on.

“I shall briefly explain the rules of the main round, now that we are right before it starts. The contestants are allowed to use weapons and armor during the matches. There exists no limitation on the use of magic. Victory will be decided when one of the contestants gives up or falls out of the ring.”

Since it’d have been a hassle for the umpire if we set the rules too fine-grained, I decided to proceed with flexible calls of victory and defeat. That way the spectators will likely be able to enjoy the matches without having to think about all sorts of rules.

“In case a participant launches an attack against their opponent after they have given up, they will lose by default, so I ask all contestants to keep this in mind. Moreover, we, the organizers, are unable to take any responsibility for damage or losses occurring due to contestants’ blunders during the matches, so please understand that your further participation equals an implicit acknowledgment of this.”

Alright, I have finished the promised explanation. Now it’s time to raise the curtain.

“Very well, we would like to begin the tournament’s main round next.”

The venue burst into cheers and applause as soon as this busamen made that statement.

You could feel the atmosphere tremble from all the shouting, roaring, and cheering. For a moment, I felt frightened reflexively. And at the same time, great joy filled my chest. It felt wonderful to make the crowd excited with my own words. Now I also understand why Sophy-chan switched to being an idol. This definitely could become an addiction for me.

“Okay, let us take a look at the match-ups of the main round.”

This ordinary Japanese flat-face looked up above while speaking with a loud voice. Lured in by that, the spectators also pointed their gazes upwards.

Matching that timing, an airship arrived in the skies above the arena. A metallic hanger was suspended below the airship. And a huge, white cloth with the match-ups drawn on it was hanging from that hanger.

Gon-chan’s cousin, Hook, was in charge of flying that airship. Because they had told me about the airship’s construction having finished, I immediately got them to put it to use for us.

I had decided the match-ups for the main tournament last night. Afterwards, I asked the members of the Twilight Troupe to somehow ink it on the cloth in one night. And just as can be seen now, the names of the participants and the tournament ladder were recorded on the cloth in huge letters.

Match-ups

Left Side:

Elisabeth FitzClarence vs. Cyan Bitch
Pascal Harlaown vs. Lunaluna
Mason Ainsworth vs. Word Journal
Gremoria Fahren vs. Dragon City’s Wall
Sophia Bacon vs. Charlotte
Galileo vs. Comment
Star the Illusion vs. Sack
Nicolas vs. Lutoral Bachelor

Right Side:

Johannes Garland vs. Sister Maria
Christa Bindewald vs. Sally Goodall (T/N: There’s a typo either in the graphic or in the previous chapter since they’re being called サリー (Sally) here and サニー (Sunny) in Chapter 2)
Gonzales Aufschnaiter vs. Mara Totto
Ashley Aufschnaiter vs. Josef Williams
Allen Anderson vs. José Pectine
Nui vs. Beowulf
Dominique vs. Keith White
Onalmar Garnet vs. Nancy

Voices of astonishment and surprise could be heard all across the venue. While everyone was focused on the tournament ladder shown on the cloth, this ordinary Japanese flat-face moved his location. If you ask where he moved, it’s the live coverage seat next to the ring.

My partner was already next to me. It was no one other than Goggoru-chan. Making her wait all alone in the Loligon Tower while an event to promote the city was being held would be far too cruel, wouldn’t it? I feel very sorry for this, but I got her to sit next to this busamen.

An empty, flat area had been set up between the live coverage seats and the audience seating. Since there was no one besides me here, it was fine for her to be present.

Originally, it’d have been the correct approach to call over the Hero of the West, but he was a contestant in the main round. It probably wouldn’t give an overly good impression to participants from other countries for him to comment on the battles together with me. And while this sort of backsetting definitely helped my case, it was ultimately decided by the organizer’s personal preferences.

“The girl over here, Rocoroco-san, and I will fulfill the honor of giving you a live coverage of the matches.”

I shook something similar to a microphone at Goggoru-chan. According to the Noble Mage, it seems to be a megaphone that uses wind magic. This was yet another of his handmade inventions.

“Thank you for coming here today. I’m looking forward to working with you, Rocoroco-san.”

“…Likewise.”

Oohh, we’re off to a good start. She replied, clearly skimping on words, but I still felt her dignity. If possible, I’d like to use the main tournament as an opportunity to improve the Goggoru race’s standing in this world. After all, this world should definitely have people who enjoy reverse rape as a fetish while having their minds read by a Goggoru. That sort of demand will brighten the future of those girls, I’m pretty sure.

“……”

“Very well, I know it’s a bit sudden, but I would like to move on to the first match.”

I read the contestants’ names, following the tournament ladder.

“The ones shouldering the honor of fighting out the very first match of the main tournament are Elisabeth FitzClarence from the Penny Empire and Cyan Bitch, likewise from the Penny Empire. Both of you, please come up on the stage!”

In response to this ordinary Japanese flat-face’s call, the two stepped onto the ring. As might be expected, it’s smart to start off gorgeously with a battle between girls. Everyone will be happy while getting a peek of their underwear.

“Elisabeth FitzClarence is, as the name suggests, the young lady of the Duke FitzClarence family. She has also been ruling as a viscountess over a territory, adjacent to the Pussy Republic. Moreover, she’s a daring warrior who has earned the title of Dragon Slayer.”

After all was said and done, Ester-chan has gone back to Allen, so this ordinary Japanese flat-face can ogle her honestly without any reservations. Loli Bitch’s face is adorable. Her figure is erotic. I want to fuck her raw from behind. And I yearn to unload my junk inside her.

And yet, she’s cross-dressing as a guy today. As far as this busamen is concerned, it’s extremely saddening to a bitch’s bitchiness being killed off like that. Even though we’re finally going to have a nice battle scene after a while, there won’t be any panty-flashes or anything like that from her. But I believe that tying her hair into twintails has been a very wonderful decision.

Responding to her entry, a barrage of cheers rained down on her from the stands. Of course, you can feel the power of FitzClarence behind it.

“Cyan Bitch likewise, is, as her name suggests, the young lady of the Penny Empire’s Bitch family. Despite her tender age, she’s a talent who serves as vice-captain of the 3rd Imperial Magic Corps. And just like Contestant FitzClarence, she also bears the title of Dragon Slayer.”

On the other hand, Sophy-chan’s outfit uses the power of idols. It seriously blows.

I believed that I’d be allowed to appreciate her panties from a place closer than anyone else.

She received the same sort of cheering as Ester-chan upon her entry. However, the percentage of deep, manly voices was overwhelmingly higher. Even though she was a young lady of the FitzClarence faction, I feel her supporter base was different from Ester-chan’s.

Or rather, the commoner voices were awfully passionate. As expected of Princess Bitch.

“I’m looking forward very much to finding out what sort of fight they will show us. Well then, seeing how the contestants have already climbed onto the ring, I would like to start the match. Both of you, are you ready?”

Once I asked, both nodded back at me. They were staring at each other seriously.

“Okay, then please start.”

At last, the first match of the tournament’s main round started. Ester-chan was the first to make a move.

“I won’t go easy on you, Cyan!”

At the same time she loudly announced this, Loli Bitch held up her arm. A bright red magic circle appeared underneath her feet. In exchange, her clothes and the twintails began to flutter. If she had worn a mini-skirt, this would have been the perfect panty-flashing scene. Why did she have to cross-dress as a man? Pants have the sole purpose of hiding a dude’s leg hair. A young woman shouldn’t wear those.

“You won’t last long if you strain yourself too much.”

In contrast, Sophy-chan looked as composed as always. Considering the way she talks, it’s probably true that both are in a teacher-student relationship.

While Ester-chan seemed to be brimming with the spirit to surpass Sophy-chan one way or another, I couldn’t even begin to fathom what Sophy-chan was thinking, but her short skirt was really great.

“Don’t worry, I’m not going to stay like this for long!”

Ester-chan swung down her arm. Matching this, magic was released from beneath her.

“Contestant FitzClarence has gone on the offensive!”

I raised my voice to a shout to carry out my duties as host. It was the belt-shaped magic that approached its target, glittering in rainbow colors. I had seen the same spell during the dragon subjugation as well. It came with an auto-homing function and the incredibly annoying trait of chasing you forever, no matter how far you ran.

Several shots of this spell flew towards Princess Bitch. My first sight of it was during the Loligon fight on Mt. Pepe. Even during the dispute, it had been unleashed in my presence. Nowadays, I’m wondering whether this spell excels the most against physical objects.

Even in online games and such, it’s normal for the ratio of a special build that accounts for a specific hunting ground to be 90%. That tendency might be stronger here because lives are on the line.

“Ester-chan, you’re too naive.”

Just as expected, Sophy-chan released the same magic. Moreover, hers came out much faster than Ester-chan’s. An instant after a magic circle surfaced underneath her, the spell was already fired off.

gh!?”

Princess Bitch’s magic clashed with Loli Bitch’s magic directly, resulting in both canceling each other out. The shining belts kept hitting each other and disappearing. Before long, it became apparent that the magic of Princess Bitch won out by just one spell.

“Contestant Elisabeth’s magic was offset by Contestant Bitch’s magic. Furthermore, Contestant Bitch’s magic, which won in numbers, is currently approaching Contestant Elisabeth who is showing an opening after having finished shooting all her spells. Is she going to be alright!?”

Ester-chan thrust out both her arms.

For real? Are you serious here, Sophy-chan?

Contrary to my expectations, she isn’t pulling any punches here.

Is this truly going to be okay? I’m not going to have to worry, do I? Still, I’d like her to properly tear apart Loli Bitch’s outfit.

“I-I won’t lose!”

The fireballs created in front of Ester-chan collided with Sophia-chan’s rainbow-colored magic right before they could hit Ester-chan.

“Contestant FitzClarence uses her fireballs as shields to block Contestant Bitch’s magic. Those are extraordinary reflexes. On the other hand, Contestant Bitch is quite good herself as well. She hasn’t moved a single step since the beginning of the match. No wonder that she’s the vice-captain of the 3rd Magic Corps.”

Personally, this busamen would love to see some hard action against Sophy-chan, otherwise he won’t be able to get a good look at her panties.

I really want to see those panties. Right now, I want to discover the suzie engraved on Sophy-chan’s panties, no matter what it takes.

“I wonder how long you can keep up,” Sophy-chan muttered provocatively while continuing to fire one homing spell after the other.

gh…”

Ester-chan dealt with it by creating fireballs in all directions. She definitely kept disposing of the spells hurled at her, but the rainbow-colored magic unleashed by Sophia-chan targeted Loli Bitch while skillfully evading her fireballs.

Before long, one of those attacks finally managed to hit Ester-chan.

rg!?”

“…And with this, it’s over.”

The spell, which suddenly changed its direction moments before the impact, targeted the area at Loli Bitch’s feet.

After all’s said and done, Sophy-chan doesn’t want to hurt her childhood friend. It’s probably a manifestation of her kindness. Her daily behavior is like that of a little princess, but I think deep down she’s got a lovely personality.

This busamen can clearly tell from the countless times she allowed him to partake in taking a peek at her panties.

For a virgin like me, she’s the best kind of princess.

“Give up, Ester.”

Ester-chan fell after losing her balance. Princess Bitch watched that with her usual, scornful look.

“…No.”

“I can guarantee you staying unhurt beyond this.”

Sophy-chan is very cool. At the same time, I’m worried about the fact that she hasn’t flashed her panties even once yet. I wanna look at Sophy-chan’s buttocks. I wanna check out her groin. I wanna enjoy her pubes. I’m sure everyone else in this arena is looking forward to the same, believing that if it’s her, she might give them a show.

“Even then, I don’t want to!”

“…I see.”

“Isn’t that logical!? I can still fight!”

“Do you want to show off to him that much?”

gh…I-It’s not like h-he’s got anything to d-d-do with this!” Loli Bitch frantically denied it with a bright red face.

Come to think of it, ever since her bad relationship with Allen was resolved, this busamen’s opportunities to see her have decreased significantly. It’s the outcome of him having shown his consideration in his own way.

The closer the distance to sex, the more realistic the eroticism feels.

“What about you, anyway? Don’t you want to show off to Allen?”

“…Most recently, I’ve been worried a bit.”

“Hah!? What are you talking about all of a sudden?”

“You have proceeded ahead along the path I’ve always been looking for.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“You and I might actually be desiring the same.”

ng…”

At the same time Sophy-chan muttered this, a clear change appeared on Ester-chan’s expression. Her bright red face reverted to its usual tint, and at the same time, she tightened her expression while lifting the corners of her eyes. Currently, her look was accompanied by the same indescribable force her papa, Richard-san, exuded whenever he opened his eyes.

“Sophy, what do you mean?”

“I literally mean what I said.”

“…I see.”

But, as far as I can hear from their conversation, that Allen chap seems to enjoy a harem life as always. I believed I fully understood as much after witnessing the threesome in the inn of some village, but I’m realizing it now once again.

It’s not like they’re going out, but it’s still a heavy blow for this virgin, as it made me aware of his position as ex-boyfriend. It resembles the occasion when my co-workers trash-talked an elderly virgin from another department during a company outing.

This busamen’s only appeal of being a playboy, who fucks around, is his greater magic.

“…Greater magic?”

“………”

I got a retort from Goggoru-chan. She’s kindly caring for this ordinary Japanese flat-face. She’s showing empathy towards this miserable virgin.

Thank you. That slightly sadistic retort felt pleasant. It’s somewhat bad as a way of showing concern, but I feel it’s got its own charm.

“I-I definitely w-won’t allow that!”

“You’re not the one deciding that. It’s him,” Sophy-chan declared with a challenging look.

gh…!”

“Your look is slightly hurtful, Ester.”

Rainbow-colored spells in the dozens started to float up around Princess Bitch. Having more than doubled in numbers, those are nothing other than a threat for Ester-chan. If Sophy-chan orders it, all of those spells will fly towards Ester-chan.

rg…”

I met Ester-chan’s eyes as she cast a fleeting glance my way. She probably has some business with the live coverage.

Just as I thought that, a change occurred on her face. Her fretfulness completely disappeared, substituted by the face of a man who made his resolve. It was a sudden spike in gallantry.

“Eat this.”

At the same time as Sophy-chan murmured that, countless light belts rushed forward. On the other hand, Ester-chan flew into the sky through Flight magic.

“That’s a bad idea, Ester.”

The trailing rainbow-colored spells were like beams.

As Ester-chan rose higher into the air, she began to evade those beams by flying around. And she was much better at it than I expected. You could even call it flight acrobatics.

“Wh-…!?”

Princess Bitch was shocked. Seeing that, Loli Bitch explained with a triumphant look, “I learned from no one other than him! He said that you will always find a way, as long as you refine your techniques, even if the amount of your mana might be meager in comparison. I’m sure a person like me, who lacks talent, still has potential, even if it’s just a tiny bit!”

While evading the spells in the air, Loli Bitch closed in on Princess Bitch.

“Ugh….!”

At once, Sophy-chan made her move to activate some sort of magic. But, without minding that, Ester-chan charged at her from the front.

“It’s my victory!”

It was almost like a traffic accident. Loli Bitch’s ramming attack hit Princess Bitch. The deciding blow was a headbutt, a rather unbecoming attack for a lady. But it was such a magnificent headbutt that the live coverage team was stumped by it. Ester-chan directly hit Sophy-chan’s solar plexus with the crown of her head.

“It’s an unbelievable ramming attack by Contestant FitzClarence! Contestant Bitch took it straight from the front. Unable to stand her ground, Contestant Bitch was hurled to the rear. She’s still flying! OH! And now she is out of the ring! Contestant Bitch has fallen out of the ring!”

At the exact moment, the long-awaited opportunity occurred. I could see her panties! Her panties were in plain sight! Even the spectators have a full view of her panties! Contestant Cyan’s lovely, stringy panties are black…they’re black today! Moreover, they’re premium black low-rise!

“…Haa, haa, haa.”

Ester-chan landed on the stage by rolling across the ground. On the other hand, Sophy-chan lay limp on the ground outside the ring.

I’ve never expected such a dramatic reversal victory.

“Contestant FitzClarence wins this match!”

The appearance of Contestant Sophy, collapsed there, is irresistible as well! Please look at that wedgie! Even an artist who loves drawing vertical lines would be in awe after seeing this! Her skirt, which had been flipped up, her thighs, which were exposed all the way to the base, and her suzie, which was visible to everyone!

Her facing up while being bow-legged is simply awesome. This is the style I expect from a princess.

“Contestant FitzClarence has achieved victory in the first match! Next up is the second match!”

As soon as this ordinary Japanese flat-face roared, cheering erupted from the stands. It seems like the spectators enjoyed the previous match. I do not doubt that the pantie-flashing at the end played a significant role in this. It taught me a good lesson in how to build up the excitement at the end.

But, how to describe it…?

Recently, Sophy-chan’s loser feeling is going strong. But, rather than embracing such pitiful feelings, I’d love to enjoy a romantic kiss with her.

———– End of Part 2 ———–

【Sophia-chan’s Point of View】

This maid is currently in the waiting room for contestants. This room is directly connected to the arena through a passage. At the same time, it’s the only way to the stage, and access is limited to authorized personnel. According to Tanaka-san, it’s a space designed to prevent unexpected situations, such as the substitution of contestants.

The reason for its existence sounds somewhat exaggerated, but its interior design is pretty good. Given that quite a few of the contestants possess a high social status, it has been constructed luxuriously to accommodate them. Looking at it objectively, the room looks just like a noble mansion’s parlor. Each chair costs enough to cover my life’s expenses. The somewhat largish sofas and the tables look so expensive that I’m scared even to touch them. As someone who has been managing the ledgers, I can’t relax at all since I feel like a price tag is attached to each piece of furniture.

By the way, unlike the audience stands, the waiting room is situated on the inner side of the building. It’s pushing out towards the stage, located directly under the noble booth. The wall facing the stage has been equipped with windows, allowing the contestants to watch the matches.

Isn’t this a quite nice arrangement of the front seats to watch the fights?

“……”

Around me, I could see the participants who would appear in the tournament today.

The one standing out the most is Lord Fahren, I think. He looks very scary. Moreover, the one talking with Lord Fahren seems to be an acquaintance of his and someone in an important position at the Academy City.

In addition, internationally renowned celebrities have appeared here as well. Among them, as is only natural, is Hero of the East-sama.

“……”

His glancing in this maid’s direction every so often doesn’t feel overly comfortable.

On the other hand, apart from those with showy outfits, I could also see many participants whose appearances contradicted them. For example, one person, whose gender wasn’t clear, had their body entirely hidden underneath a robe.

I wonder whether they have some sort of background that makes it necessary for them to hide their face.

There was also a person who wore a mask. Their reason for being here was likely the big prize money obtainable in the main round. 1,000 gold is an amount of money a commoner can never earn by normal means. It’s more than enough money for people to get reckless.

And even as this maid was quivering all by herself, the main round was steadily advancing.

The first match between Ester-sama and Sophy-sama was won by the former. Nothing less of Ester-sama. Up to halfway through the match, she had been attacked by Sophy-sama one-sidedly. But, without giving up hope, she eventually turned things around. Her comeback victory was touching to watch.

At present, the second match was going. A knight leader from some country and a sage from another country were fighting each other. Both sides seemed to be competing earnestly, and throughout the hour of back and forth since the start of the match, the match became intense enough for my hands to get all sweaty.

Everyone in the waiting room was watching the match with serious looks.

“……”

Thanks to that, none of them paid attention to this maid sticking out here like a sore thumb.

Currently, I’m sitting on a chair in a corner of the room, holding my knees while trembling. I don’t have even the slightest shred of composure to enjoy watching the match. My armpits and breasts have become as sweaty as never before. Even the color of my clothes has changed.

“How about having a drink?”

Probably unable to watch my pitiful state any longer, one of the maids attending us participants brought me something to drink. Some of the contestants are in positions where they represent their country. Taking their needs into account, each contestant had an exclusive maid assigned to them. And because of that, the weird scene of a maid waiting on a maid was now taking place in the waiting room.

“A-Ah, thank you very much.”

“Please do not mind it.”

A cup with piping hot tea had been placed on the table in front of me. Its aroma smells very nice. I’m sure high-class tea leaves have been used for this. Of course, I can’t say for certain since I’m not familiar with drinking high-class tea, but that’s what I think, at least.

“If there is anything else you need, please do not hesitate to tell me.”

“O-Okay…”

Usually, this exchange would be impossible. It has been my dream from childhood to have a maid take care of my needs. I mean, it makes sense since I have admired maids for so long.

But, even though I have finally been able to accomplish this long-standing dream, I don’t feel happy at all. The cause is the sounds of magic bursting and the spectators’ cheers and yells, continuously coming from the venue. Each time my body jolted. It made it even more difficult to reach for the teacup I had been served.

However, despite my anxiety, the tournament went on. The second match was barely won by the knight leader. I was impressed by Tanaka-san dashing on the stage and applying healing magic at almost the same time as the match ended.

The third match was a fight between a royal knight from some country and a very famous professor who came here from the Academy City. This match was dominated by the professor from the start to the end, finishing rather quickly in his favor. The winner was the same person who had talked with Lord Fahren until the second match.

“Now then, let’s start the fourth match next.”

Tanaka-san’s voice resounded in the arena.

“The next match will be Contestant Gremoria Fahren testing his luck against the outer wall of Dragon City. By the way, I feel like starting the match right away, but now that the third match has ended, it’s a great opportunity to insert a lunch break.”

It sounds like we’re having a lunch break now. But I don’t feel like I’ll be able to eat anything at all.

As soon as lunch break started, the audience stands emptied. You could occasionally see people eating their meals in their seats, but most had apparently gone outside to the food village set up next to the arena. The royals and nobles had moved to another place, probably smacking their lips at the lunch party, which had been prepared by Neumann, around now.

On the other hand, this ordinary Japanese flat-face was now standing in the center of the stage without partaking in any meals. Next to him stood the Noble Mage and Loligon.

『Hey! What’s that business of yours!? I-I’m busy, you know?』

“Please forgive me, but there is something I would like to borrow your help for.”

If you ask why we three have gathered here right now, the answer is preparations for the upcoming third match. That match is slated to be a fight between the Noble Mage and Dragon City’s outer wall. I had prepared an ordinary-Japanese-flat-face-made wall for the preliminaries, but I want to use a Loligon-made wall for the main round. Or rather, I had put the Noble Mage and the wall into the next match for that very sake.

『…My help?』

“Would you be able to create a smaller piece of wall that is as sturdy as the one surrounding Dragon City? Fahren-san is going to challenge it during the next match. The outcome of the match is going to be the destruction of the wall or it going out of bounds.”

『Hmmm? Really?』

Loligon cast a glance at the Noble Mage. That guy proudly answered, “Yes, right. I planned to challenge it someday anyway. And after studying it for a while now, I have come up with a reasonably good plan. I want to present it in front of no one other than you while using this magnificent stage.”

The occasion was something he had told Christina in the past. It was about him showing that he was a man by at least destroying a piece of the wall I made. When I proposed this match-up while fixing the tournament ladder yesterday, the Noble Mage essentially begged me to allow him to fight the wall.

His heart still seems to be filled with love for Loligon.

『Hehen, you sure saying some cocky things』

“Are you scared that your own wall might be destroyed, Ancient Dragon?”

『Bring it on. Now that you’ve said it, I’m going to create my special, super deluxe wall』

Hey, wait a sec, don’t rile her up, old man.

Whenever she says such things, the wall becomes around 70% tougher than usual.

『Feel free to give it your best shot, human』

A wall suddenly grew out of the ground in front of her eyes in response to Loligon’s murmur. It was slightly taller than the Noble Mage. Its width was around one meter, and its thickness was around the same as that of the wall surrounding Dragon City. I can’t say anything about its interior, but its rugged surface looked just like the latest piece of work.

“I-I see. I’m itching to put my skills to use.”

Facing his match opponent, the Noble Mage looked tense. When it comes to fighting straight from the front, this wall is doubtlessly the strongest contestant in the main round.

“Thank you very much, Christina-san.”

『…Hmph』

“By the way, Fahren-san, sorry for bringing it up all of a sudden, but she and I have something to discuss about the tournament’s management, so please allow us to excuse ourselves from here. I shall be waiting for you in the waiting room after lunch break. Please look forward to it.”

“Yeah, I’ll be seeing you then.”

Leaving behind the Noble Mage, I left the stage alongside Loligon. We moved inside the dome-shaped arena building through the entrance installed below the audience seating. We quickly walked through the hallway beyond the door, passing the waiting room. After a while of silent walking, we proceeded into a passage further inside that had been reserved for staff only.

This place was deserted, and the noise from the arena would be a distant whisper around here, too.

『Hey! H-How far are we going? I’m very busy…!』

When Loligon got tired of waiting, this busamen faced her once again.

Our mayor, who was always talking loudly, was unusually fidgety. Her eyes were darting around all over the place. Maybe she’s truly busy. I don’t recall having requested anything in particular of her, so perhaps someone else asked her for a favor.

In that case, I must wrap up my business with her quickly.

“I have a request for you, Christina-san.”

『W-What is it?』

“Could I have you destroy the wall atop the stage when Fahren-san unleashes a spell during the match? I’d like you to make it look to the spectators as if the wall had been shattered by his spell. Of course, while making sure that no one else finds out.”

『…….Haah?』

I’ll put in an effort to serve as a cupid of love. If the Noble Mage manages to destroy Dragon City’s wall in front of the public, he’ll be able to take a step forward towards Loligon. I think he might obtain enough confidence to actively court her.

Of course, if he finds out about the truth, he’ll likely get very pissed. Even so, this ordinary Japanese flat-face believes that it’ll doubtlessly become a big plus for his life, setting aside his evaluation of me.

From the outset, it’s very tough for a human to challenge a dragon. It’s like a sea anemone courting a cat. That’s why I want him to gain the courage and confidence to confess his love to another race straight from the front. I think the current tournament is a great opportunity for that.

No matter how you look at it, the Noble Mage lacks assertiveness. He’s a typical virgin. If you leave him alone, he, who’s already past forty, will immediately become an old man without being able to do anything. Once that happens, there won’t be any recovery. The remaining time will just be too short.

Because I’m someone walking down the same path as him, I can understand this. Although it’s sad to admit. I’d like him to become an aggressive man to prevent him from spending his old age alone. Capturing Loligon’s heart as the herbivore he’s been so far is a dream within a dream.

Yep, right now he’s resigned himself to wanting to be raped instead of being the one doing the raping.

“I know it’s not right for me to be the one telling you such things, but he wishes to be close to you. But we humans are a very frail race. We need confidence to take even one step forward. I’d like you to cooperate with me for that sake, Christina-san.”

『Hmmm』

“What do you think?”

『Does that human wish to show his power to me?』

“Yes.”

『In other words, that male wishes to copulate with me?』

“……”

Loligon sure is wild when it comes to such matters. Maybe she’s still remembering our promise from before as well.

“Please ask him about that.”

『………』

For the time being, I should dodge the question.

Thereupon, she began to act worried. It’s not like I’m not curious just what sort of considerations were being carried out in her brain. Or rather, I’m quite curious. Super curious, at that. A draconic cerebral meeting.

“How is it?”

『……Is it fine?』

“Meaning?”

『I-Is it fine? Should I really do it? C-C-Copulating w-with that m-m-male…』

“If that is what you truly wish, I will give you my blessing.”

There’s fucking no way it’s fine. I definitely don’t watch the scene of Loligon laying eggs. If it’s unfertilized eggs, I’ll welcome them anytime, but if I had to look at fertilized eggs, I’d end up bedridden for a year. And after that, I’d head out to the Dark Continent on a soul-searching journey together with Goggoru-chan.

But I cannot act like my promise doesn’t exist.

“However, it would become a problem for upholding the dignity of our city if he ended up crushing the wall all too easily. Accordingly, I would like you to put on a play where he barely manages to destroy it after trying his utmost.”

At the same time, I must not forget the homework I received from His Majesty.

It’d be a problem in itself if the wall were blown apart too easily. It’d be best to solve the Noble Mage’s love situation at the same time as displaying the sturdiness of our city’s wall. That’s the sort of ideal balancing I’m looking for.

“Can I ask that of you?”

『………』

“If it’s too difficult, I won’t force you, but…”

『…Hmph』

Loligon turned her face away.

Is it possibly a lost case? In that case, it’d create the extremely troublesome issue of me disposing of the wall I created. It’s not that I couldn’t do it if I have to, but it’d be a development causing a slight degree of anxiety over the question how far my public works magic works against her public works magic.

Oh, right. It might also be a good plan to get rid of it with Edita-sensei’s space magic.

“Christina-san?”

Once I asked her again, she mumbled in return, 『…You’re such a busybody, you know?』

“When I look at him, I don’t feel like it’s someone else’s problem.”

『In that case, how about you yourself?』

“Me?”

I’d never expected her to respond like that. I wonder what the correct answer would be here.

I don’t know.

If I had to be honest, I’d admit that I want to fertilize her eggs with my ugly sperm.

『…Favor』

“Pardon?”

『I’m telling you, y-you owe me for that! This is a favor, okay? Such things are possible as well, right? I-I heard you previously talking about it to another guy!』

“Yes, of course we can do it like that.”

『Now that you owe me, I’ll definitely have you pay me back! Got it!?』

“Please ask me whatever you want at that time. I will answer to the best of my ability.”

gh…O-Of course. That’s only natural!』

Loligon whirled around and stomped away.

Can I take that as her way of showing agreement? I guess so?

Her dragon’s tail was wagging.

“……”

As long as the wall is destroyed during the match just as requested by this busamen, it’s going to be perfect. Then, in the second round, Professor Journal will face Noble Mage. This will likely be very exciting in its own way. We’ll be able to make a good impression with the representative of Academy City, and by extension, the whole city as well.

Doesn’t it feel great when things go as initially planned?

————- End of Part 3 ————-

After lunch break, the fourth match started on the stage.

“Very well, we would like to begin the fourth match now,” I announced loudly.

In return, I got a stir from the audience. It was a reaction full of doubt and bewilderment, in contrast to the cheering that accompanied all the matches before.

The reason lay in the two contestants standing on the stage. The only person standing there was the Noble Mage. Facing him in front, separated by around a dozen meters from him, towered what could only be described as a piece of wall. Far from it not being a person, it didn’t even belong to the category of living beings.

Since it’d be quite awkward at this rate, I shall provide an explanation.

“About the following fourth match: The opponent of Gremoria Fahren, a contestant from the Penny Empire, is set to be the wall currently surrounding our beautiful Dragon City. Right now, a piece of that wall is standing on the stage.”

In response to this ordinary Japanese flat-face’s explanation, the tumultuous noise became even louder. Apparently, most spectators were unsure how the Noble Mage was supposed to have a match against a wall.

But that makes sense. It’s a very reasonable opinion.

“Please remember the rules of the main tournament. Victory is decided when one party gives up or leaves the stage. Of course, a wall cannot speak, so the outcome of this match will be decided by Contestant Fahren either destroying the wall, throwing it off the stage, or giving up.”

This time, the voices in the arena started to change, with many people voicing their understanding. It’s not a bad reaction at all.

It seems like the people have accepted that this match will have a format different from the three previous matches and have started to show interest in it. Some of the people who have been betting on the matches could be seen cheering for the wall, apparently already knowing about the wall’s advancement into the main round, so I guess someone is going to make a nice buck with this.

“Please start the fourth match.”

The match began with this busamen’s call. While directly staring at the wall, the Noble Mage took several steps forward. I could sense the dreadfulness of an ikemen, who made up his resolve, from his expression.

“I will have you eat all of my secret magic techniques!”

After making that over-conscious statement, he energetically flipped his mantle over with an arm. The Noble Mage has a great body build, so the thick fabric fluttering on his broad back looked really awesome. If this busamen did the same, it’d definitely be added to his dark history.

The audience’s expectations suited his show, too.

“Fahren-sama, your magic is going to blow away that wall with one shot!

“I will be rooting for you, Fahren-sama!”

“No matter how hard the wall might be, it’s nothing in front of Fahren-sama’s magic!”

“Fahren-sama, I took the liberty to bet everything I own on your victory! Please give it a big shot!”

“Fahren-samaaaaaaa!”

As it seems like the audience is hyped, I feel very grateful to him.

It’s not like I don’t have any uneasiness gnawing at me over some of the somewhat rude calls towards our great Earl-sama, but since the person on the stage was in high spirits, it’s probably no problem worth mentioning. Rather, they might actually boost his motivation.

“Now then, let’s find out whether Contestant Fahren will be able to destroy the wall.”

I casually let my eyes wander, looking for Loligon. She’s probably hiding somewhere. Of course, it’s also possible for her to cast her magic even from further away, so it’s not that much of a problem either way.

“Here I go!”

The Noble Mage roared loudly and took a pose reminding one of a mage. At the same time, a magic circle appeared beneath his feet with a buzzing. It had a radius of around five meters. Its lines were bright red as it emitted a powerful, bright light. Light beads of similar colors slowly rose from the circle’s surface.

It was an act that made one expect a lot from it. A chant, sounding very much like a magic spell, started to flow from his mouth. In response, the magic circle’s lines began to shine more brightly, as if pulsating. At the same time, the Noble Mage held out a hand straight in front of him.

As he held his hand open as if holding a big orb in his palm, a new magic circle came into existence, its edges touching onto his fingers. It had the same size as the tray that Sophia-chan usually carried.

Several light orbs were created in the center of that circle, floating up into the air. Shining bright red, those orbs flew above the wall. And then, after surrounding it, they stopped in mid-air. As there were only around a dozen of them encircling the wall, the deployment reminded one of a circle with rough edges.

“Even if it falls short of the main family’s abilities, I wish to wrap this up as flashy as I can,” mumbled the Noble Mage under his breath.

Next, he snapped his fingers with the hand he used to create the magic circle. Following that, a light belt formed, as if to connect the orbs. In front of everyone, who was staring at him in wonder at what would be happening next, the light orbs’ radiances linked up with each other, turning into a single ring. It kind of looked like the rope demarcating a pre-wrestling ring.

Simultaneously, something happened inside the bright ring.

“Dragon Wall!”

In response to the Noble Mage’s serious voice, pillars of light rose into the sky as if to cover the wall. They had a diameter of around three meters. But just as the light rose, a shock so powerful that it made my body tremble was passed on to me, and the ground shook beneath my feet.

The light headed for the sky, extending over several dozen meters. A low rumbling thundered throughout the arena.

It was quite dazzling to look at. Or rather, staring at it directly was a bit too much of a challenge. There’s no better way to blind an audience. Everyone averted their eyes from the stage, apparently having been stunned by the intense flash of light.

Under these circumstances, Loligon might be able to launch her magic to destroy the wall without anyone noticing.

By the way, it just struck me now, but I feel like I’ve seen a spell very similar to this one somewhere before. Hmm, I wonder where it could have been.

【Sophia-chan’s Point of View】

I went to the restroom. For the third time today. The state of my stomach is anything but good. Thanks to that, I have wiped my butt too much, resulting in something red sticking to the toilet paper. Somehow, I get the urge to mix it into Tanaka-san’s tea. I sincerely wish he would share my hardships.

gh…”

Ah, another wave…another wave is coming. My stomach is rumbling. And it hurts. Very much.

Although there’s nothing left in it to eject, my body is fervently appealing its desire to poop. If I add the prickling pain of my butthole to this, I’m finally starting to really worry about my own life.

“……”

I wonder just how much time I have spent cooped up in the toilet like this.

While this maid’s butt has been hurting, I could sense the presence of one person, then another, coming to do their business before leaving again. How enviable. A healthy defecation is a nostalgic dream of the past for me.

My stomach condition is truly bad. The main round is gradually coming closer.

But, just as I started to genuinely get depressed because of all the circumstances, I suddenly heard a hushed whispering from the stall next to mine.

“Wrong. First wear this, then put on this afterwards.”

『…This?』

“No, not that one. The one next to it.”

『You’re such a stickler for details. What a pain in the ass. Get out. You’re in the way』

“Do you get it? If you don’t wear that, you can’t go out, okay?”

『Gurururu…』

“W-What? W-W-Want to have a go!? I-I’m the strongest e-e-elf, you know!?”

『…I’ll wear it』

“……”

I feel like I’ve heard those voices somewhere before. They sound very familiar.

I’m pretty sure this must be Dragon-san and Elf-san. It cannot be anyone else. Most recently, I have been on good terms with them, so there’s no way I would mistake those voices. The case of them taking care of me in the Great Holy Land is still fresh in my mind as well.

And immediately after hearing their voices, a question naturally crossed my mind: Why have those two entered a stall together?

In the first place, this maid was told in advance that this toilet is exclusively reserved for the tournament contestants.

“Ah, hey! Your tail! Your tail is out!”

『Shut it. Your ears are showing as well』

“Wuuut!?”

Somehow, they seem to have fun. I’m so envious. I don’t know the circumstances here, but their voices as they were peacefully talking sound awfully happy to me.

Both are somewhat special, but I can confidently say they have good hearts. That’s why I somehow feel happy if Elf-san and Dragon-san are getting along so well.

Oops, it’s time to stop thinking about unrelated matters.

ng….”

Another rumbling has arrived. My stomach…my stomach hurts, Tanaka-san.

The brilliance of the magic, released by the Noble Mage, gradually stopped being so flashy. The brightness I could feel through my eyelids faded away.

When I opened my eyes a tiny bit, I could tell that the usual colors had returned to my visual field.

The pillars of light continued to shine for another dozen seconds before slowly losing intensity, just to disperse and vanish at the end. The stage, which had been dyed in red light, reverted to its previous sight, and the low, bass sound, which had been reverberating through the venue, also did so.

As soon as this ordinary Japanese flat-face recovered his sight, I resumed my live broadcast.

“Now then, did he manage to break the wall?”

My attention immediately homed in on the spot where the wall should have been. But then I wondered what happened. What I spotted first was the wall, with not a single scratch on it.

“……”

It was standing there indifferently without a single change from before.

On the other hand, the Noble Mage had gone down to his knees in utter discouragement after spotting it on the stage. Moreover, his breathing was going hard, and his shoulders were going up and down, while he looked as though he was going to collapse at any moment.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen him so exhausted. The last time was when his mood went down the drain as he was shaken around by the Loligon flight.

“…It’s undamaged.”

Even Goggoru-chan went so far as to voice it.

Sorry, right now I don’t have the leeway to sexually harass you. Pu●●y. Pu●●y.

Now, I wonder what I should do about this development unfolding before us. To be honest, no good words to follow up on it come to mind. Even the spectators have fallen completely silent. All of them had probably expected the Noble Mage to easily win this.

“……”

Loligon, where did my favor go? I feel like this is somewhat different from what we agreed on. No, right now isn’t the time to press questions on responsibility. Continuing the fourth match is much more important. It’s not like he has one chance either. That just now was merely a warm-up. The next one will be the real deal.

Do your best. One more shot.

Stand up, Noble Mage. Now is the time to show your backbone for the woman you love.

Name: Gremoria Fahren
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Level: 131
Job: Mage

HP:15550/15550
MP:0/31010

STR:2300
VIT:6058
DEX:10840
AGI:3130

LUC:3991

No shot. As usual, he bet everything on this one attack. I think it would usually have been the correct choice, but this time it was a bad choice.

However, that doesn’t mean it’s all over. Depending on the acting, I may be able to rescue him.

“Ohh my, what could this mean!? The wall seems to be completely unfazed by the attacks!”

After suffering magic attacks, it develops a few cracks before eventually collapsing; there’s no better scenario than this. It’s a development that hypes up the mission’s achievement after making everyone believe that it was completely impossible. Even if Loligon shirks her duty, this ordinary Japanese flat-face will pick up the slack in her place.

Targeting the wall on the stage, I’ll activate public works magic and──

“It’s my loss. I give up.”

“gh…”

Just when I was about to put my thoughts into practice, the match was decided all too easily, throwing me in a bit of a panic. The Noble Mage’s voice, as he announced his loss, sounded awfully dispassionate. Without having any time to stop him, he left the stage and his feet touched the ground off the stage.

With this, even this ordinary Japanese flat-face will have trouble doing anything about the outcome of this match.

The audience could not hold back their shock and surprise. They had apparently expected a performance from Dragon City’s side as well. A part of the audience, which had apparently bet on the wall while assuming that exceptions existed as well, roared in delight.

The Noble Mage passed the broadcasters’ seating on his way back to the waiting room.

“You have my gratitude for having worried over my silly consultation,” he muttered in passing.”

“…Fahren-san?”

This ordinary Japanese flat-face turned around, but he continued to walk away. His back, with the mantle fluttering in the wind, somehow looked very sad. And because I know the backstory, I strongly feel that I cannot leave him alone.

But I cannot afford to chase after him right now with the tournament in full swing.

“……”

Furthermore, that Noble Mage just passed through the perimeter of Goggoru-chan’s mind-reading. It was a distance that totally allowed her to read his mind.

As soon as this ordinary Japanese flat-face noticed that, Goggoru-chan next to me suddenly spoke up.

“…He said thanks.”

“……”

No, what’s the deal here? I don’t get it at all. Trying to act cool, he’s using the sort of tacit understanding that doesn’t get through to the other side at all. I could tell that his thanks was meant genuinely, but I didn’t intend to doubt the Noble Mage over his sincerity in the first place.

That man will never flatter others. Therefore, this ordinary Japanese flat-face has been dealing with him honestly, too. Richard-san, on the other hand, is a troublesome man because you have to consider all sorts of things when dealing with him. In that sense, the Noble Mage might be a fairly easy person to get along with.

“…Good relationship.”

I don’t think that’s anything worth mentioning, though. At any rate, I probably should talk to him tonight.

After watching the Noble Mage’s defeat, I felt flustered, but now that it’s happened, it can’t be changed either way. Since I don’t have the time to fret over things, this ordinary Japanese decided to change his thinking and proceed with the tournament.

I must announce the fifth match next.

But a problem cropped up at that point. Loligon’s wall is in the way. Removing it neatly while using public works magic is next to impossible. The difference between my and her skills has been widening during the recent town building. Still, if it’s just about destroying the wall, even this ordinary Japanese flat-face can do as much. If I use a strengthened fireball, I’m sure it’ll work.

However, it’d be a huge mood dampener for the whole tournament if I were to easily accomplish what the Noble Mage, a candidate for winning the championship, failed to do. It’d make people doubt me that I’m fixing the matches.

Removing the wall is quite urgent, but if I’m going to do it, I should probably do so quietly, during an intermission or break. If possible, it’d be best to ask Loligon, who brought the wall here in the first place, to withdraw it cleanly without resorting to flashier methods like blowing it up.

She’s the mayor of this city, and at the same time, there are rumors about her being the strongest dragon going around all over the place. The achievement of her having protected the capital, Charis, is a known fact too. It probably won’t be a problem if she uses her magic. And even if people complain in the worst case, her returning to her dragon form will have more than enough persuasive force.

Still, I can’t see her anywhere at the moment. Yet, I don’t have the spare time to go look for her.

Hmm, what should I do?

I pondered my options while bridging the break with some random talk, but no matter how much I racked my brain, I couldn’t think of a good plan.

As such, I decided to proceed just like that.

“Well then, the fifth match is coming up next.”

Keeping the stage a flat area all the time is boring anyway. Even if such an object stands there for the next few matches, it might not be all that bad.

“…So random.”

“I shall take the liberty to introduce the contestants.”

I got a very welcome retort from the brown lolita-san next to me. I want to watch Goggoru-chan using the wall’s corner to masturbate in public.

“……”

“One has to wonder what face is hidden underneath that mask…Contestant Doris!”

When I deliberately called her by her real name, the masked Drill-chan trembled with a start. Apparently, she believed I wouldn’t find out about it.

Her demeanor, which had not shown any agitation even while being watched by a large crowd, completely vanished, and she lost her composure. Her occasional glances toward the broadcasters’ seating were lovely.

As I thought, a girl who still has her hymen is definitely cute.

“Opposing her is Sophia Bacon, a contestant from Dragon City.”

My beloved Drill-chan, please take good care of Sophia-chan.

I read out the name of our Madonna loud and clear while awkwardly attempting to make eye contact with her. In response, this side, sure enough, acted suspiciously in its own way as well.

She was extremely fidgety, rubbing her thighs against each other while her face was bright red. That behavior, which she has exhibited in front of me on many occasions, was a clear sign that Maid-san was currently fighting a violent urge to pee.

That’s the best present she could have made me. Sophia-chan desperately trying not pee herself in public is very adorable.

“Very well. Please start the fifth match!”

Sophia-chan’s opponent is Drill-chan, who understands the circumstances of Dragon City, so I doubt she’ll injure her badly. Maybe Drill-chan will hold back suitably with the overly frightened Maid-san as her opponent. I mean, she’s known for being able to read the atmosphere like that.

But I’ll still keep my healing magic on standby in preparation for the worst.

Now that I think about it, she doesn’t look very happy, considering her overwhelming LUC value. Rather, her unlucky events stand out a lot more. Her current participation in the main round can be counted as a prime example of that. Because of this, this virgin has become worried about her.

“…Talk.”

Sorry, Goggoru-san. As expected, this is not the best place or occasion for a talk.

“……”

Just what does her absurdly high LUC want to do with her?

———— End of Part 5 ————

【Sophia-chan’s Point of View】

The match has started at last. No matter where I looked, I could see the audience ranks being crowded with people. That uncountable number of spectators was focused on the platform in the center, on which I was standing.

It’s only natural for me to be nervous under these circumstances. Actually, I’m feeling dizzy from it.

Of course, I do have a certain degree of experience and thus familiarity with being watched by others, thanks to my work as a waitress at our family’s restaurant. But the number of customers over there is a few dozen at most. I’ve never been exposed to the attention from so many people.

In the first place, the fact of such a huge group of people having all gathered in one place is a lifetime first for me.

The setup of the stage, having been constructed in the middle with the venue being built in the shape of a mortar, forces the spectators to look at you, whether they want it or not.

gh…”

Because of that, my tummy is hurting especially badly from all the tension. The pain is so intense that I even have trouble standing straight.

“Oh myyy? You seem like you’re suffering quite a bit, don’t you?”

“……”

Suddenly, my hearing registered a voice I knew well. I could see my opponent on the other side of the wall, standing in the middle of the stage. The voice came from there.

Is this possibly Drill-sama?

Given that her whole body is covered by a robe, with her even wearing a mask on top of that, it’s impossible to judge from her outward appearance. But I wouldn’t mistake that unique tone of voice for anyone else. After all, I have seen her once a day ever since moving to Dragon City.

“Oooooooooohohohoho! Even so, I shan’t show you any mercy!”

Indeed, it’s Drill-sama.

Come to think of it, I feel like I’ve heard Drill-sama’s name out of Tanaka-san’s mouth earlier. However, because of my ailing stomach, it seems my consciousness failed to absorb the essential information.

“P-Please wait! I’m going to giv…”

Just when I tried to give up, Drill-sama made her move. She extended her arm in my direction, powerfully thrusting it out.

“Victory goes to the one who makes the first move! Eaaaat thiiis!”

A magic circle appeared in front of her. And in the next instant, a huge fireball rushed out of its center.

It’s the same spell that Tanaka-san has been commonly using. Usually, it’s used to destroy people or objects. But, watching him daily using it to heat tea, as a substitute illumination, to warm himself, I got the strong impression that it’s more of a utility spell.

But all of that is because of Tanaka-san, I guess.

This time, the spell is approaching me as its target.

“Hiiii!”

My body moved at once. But that motion was completely disconnected from any gorgeous activity, as it had been previously performed by the other contestants on this stage, like jumping away or beautifully flying up into the air. My body chose the terribly pathetic action of crouching down and ducking its head as if hiding behind the wall in front of it.

gh….”

The fireball struck the ground slightly ahead of me. Upon its impact, it caused a very loud boom.

“Oh myyy? What might be wrong?”

Drill-sama, you are scary. I shall deeply apologize for having thought that she might be a bit crazy, going by her usual behavior. Deep regrets fill me now, considering how very rude I have been. So please, allow this humble maid to get away with her life.

Drill-sama, you’re lovely. Drill-sama, you’re so great.

“Umm, I-I’m…I’m…I’m giv….”

“One shot didn’t do the trick, huh?”

At this rate, I will be killed. My throat was constrained due to dread, making it hard for me to speak. This maid’s call for surrender wasn’t reaching Tanaka-san.

But I do remember this feeling of not being able to yell, even though I wanted to. It reminds me of the time when I got attacked by Hero of the East-sama in the Great Holy Land.

“……”

I’m at my limit. In regard to everything. My tummy hurts. My butt is about to give way. Wet way.

“Uuhhh…”

My life is going to end today. My armpits are as wet as they can get, and I’m about to shit myself in public. Moreover, my legs are itching from all the sweat, a condition I have inherited from my father. It’s almost as if I won’t see tomorrow. And a marriage will remain a dream within a dream.

How difficult life is. I feel the irrationality from the itching of my legs.

I will curse him. Dad and his boots.

“……”

At the same time as I started to feel sad, something welled up within me. It was rage.

Even as a small-timer maid at the lower end of society, I do feel proper anger. Why do I have to go through such a hard time?

But, right now, I don’t even have the leeway to be rightfully angry as my stomachache is much stronger.

Now that it’s come to this, I will bet everything on running towards the edge of the stage to get out of bounds. I have no other path available to me anymore. I will run off the stage in one go, using the wall for cover.

It’s fine. I remember the location of the toilet.

gh…”

Now then, time to sprint at full speed.

This maid started running in a rush to reach the toilet.

“How long do you plan to hide?”

But, immediately after taking a single step, I was stopped in my tracks. Fireballs rained down from the other side of the wall so as to circumvent the wall from above. They hit the area, making it impossible for me to head for my destination, while causing loud bangs all around me. The sparks and flames, which were scattered all over, scorched my skin.

“Hiii…”

In a hurry, I came to a halt and made a right about-face in reflex. My body moved in order to escape the flames. Full speed ahead in the opposite direction.

Although it’s kind of obvious, the wall from the previous match was over there. However, fearing the approaching clusters of fire, I didn’t have the mental capacity to consider this.

Even though I thrust out both hands in front of me, I couldn’t stop my body now that it had gained momentum. My palms clashed against the wall as if to pierce through it. My body stiffened up from the unexpected impact.

Naturally, my consciousness stopped focusing on my butt hole, shifting to my wrists.

ng!?”

Even so, I barely evaded the burst of liquid shit coming out. Nothing less of me.

Or so I thought, but the real enemy lurked somewhere else.

rg……”

As I worried only about my backside, I loosened my grip on my front side. I relaxed.

And recently, I would always psshh whenever I became too lax in one way or another.

“Ah…”

Of course, it came out. It overflowed without an end in sight.

“A-Aahh…aaaaah….”

How nice it feels to pee myself in public. Especially after all the patience I had so far to endure. The inside of my chest was filled with acceptance, a sense of overwhelming liberation. The feeling of warm liquid, which was spilling into my panties, slowly running down along my thighs, was almost as if I was taking a dip in a bath. The water had a nice temperature.

In this state, a change occurred to the wall in front of this maid. Just when I felt like I heard a snapping sound, cracks ran across the wall’s whole surface, before it crumbled apart alongside a loud clattering. It was a magnificent way to break apart, too. The wall entirely turned into small pieces, creating a mountain of fragments on the stage.

“……”

Now all I can do is watch.

This maid is simply dumbfounded by the wall collapsing like that. Even the pain in my tummy withdrew from the shock.

“Wh-…!?”

On the other hand, Drill-sama’s expression clearly changed on the other side of the wall. Having lost its composure, it was now dyed with astonishment. And as if it wasn’t already enough, she was alternatively looking at the broken wall and this maid, who was still discharging her liquid in a shameful manner.

“……”

My eyes met hers. In the next moment…

“O-Oooooooooohohohohohohohohohohoho!”

Her shrill laughter echoed throughout the arena.

I wonder what’s going on. Is she trying to threaten me?

Just as I wondered about that, she followed with her next words.

“I-I give up! I shall give up!”

She declared while backing off from me. Her expression had completely changed from surprise to fear.

“Whaaaa! Y-Y-You’re strong, aren’t you!?”

I was being misunderstood by Drill-sama. Her eyes cast a fleeting glance at Tanaka-san on the broadcast seat.

Maybe there had been some sort of exchange between those two before this match. If that’s the case, it could mean that Tanaka-san has also been worried about this maid to some extent.

But, without the willpower to correct any of this, this maid whirled around on the spot.

“……”

Using the path I came here, I left the stage. Without feeling anything in particular. I merely walked away in indifference. With a mindset of having resigned myself to my own fate.

“T-The winner of this match is Contestant Sophia Bacon!”

Tanaka-san’s voice sounded oddly distant. Even so, if I had to mention something good about this, it’d be the fact that this maid’s discharge was likely stopped from spreading on the stage as it mixed with the remains of the crumbled wall.

However, it still doesn’t change the fact that I leaked.

Without saying anything, I headed back to the toilet. While feeling like going on a long journey far away from here.

———— End of Part 6 ————

Sophia-chan won the problematic fifth match and advanced to the next round. The wall, which the noble Mage was unable to damage in the match before that, was pulverized after being struck by her palm. Having that scene play out in front of their eyes, the venue was tricked into believing that the power chart was as follows: Sophia-chan > Wall > Noble Mage.

Even Drill-chan’s surrender fit well into that power relationship.

But this ordinary Japanese flat face doesn’t think so. The wall’s endurance value must have been whittled down in a perfectly balanced manner by the Noble Mage beforehand. I guess our house’s maid just delivered the finishing blow. The method for the wall’s collapse has been literally magical, turning it into small pieces.

However, this leaves one question: What is the good luck that has latched itself to her, trying to accomplish in the main round by going this far?

Winning the championship would earn her the praise of many people. But that seems to be very hard on Sophia-chan. Personally ,she probably doesn’t wish for it.

Having too much good luck can be scary, too.

“Now then, I would like to proceed to the next match.”

Suppressing the urge of wanting to rush over to our maid, I announced the next match. By the way, the wall fragments on the stage have been quickly cleaned up by the members of the Twilight Troupe. They are the people who have single-handedly handled all the tasks today, from patrolling the venue to handling odd jobs. According to Gon-chan, his troupe consists of fairly capable people. That’s very appreciated.

“We will start the sixth match now!”

There are many points I ought to consider regarding the future developments, such as the Noble Mage’s defeat or Sophia-chan’s advancement into the second round. I probably should quickly begin to ponder as many scenarios in the second round and beyond as possible. It looks like I’ll be busy this evening.

While thinking about such things, I shifted my attention to the stage.

Thereupon, this busamen noticed something very unusual. Both participants were different people from the preliminaries.

“……”

After all, both people shrank by about three heads. No matter how much they’re hiding their faces with masks, such an obvious change in body height will be exposed right away.

However, you couldn’t hear any complaints from the audience as they didn’t know anything about the preliminaries. The only ones who knew about the circumstances were the participants who actually took part.

“……”

What should I do?

Maybe it’s possible for a body the size of an adult to shrink down to that of a child? This world is one of magic and swords, so a race that changes its height depending on the day…no, no, that would be way too weird. It’d be extremely inconvenient for their everyday life.

Anyway, I guess I’ll check their personal information first.

Even though I told her over and over again that it’s out of the question…

I didn’t think she wanted to participate in this tournament to this extent. Moreover, since even Sensei is with her, I’m starting to feel like I actually wronged her in some way.

Both are facing off against each other like this, so I can understand their wish. They probably wanted to try competing against each other, or something like that.

“……”

I wonder where the people who passed the preliminaries are instead of those two? If I strictly follow the rules of this tournament, I cannot approve of those two participating since they didn’t pass the preliminaries. And it’s quite easy for me to stop this match as a moderator.

However, if possible, I’d like to avoid calling a loss by foul play. Seeing how our mayor participated while breaking the rules, it’s probably impossible to have her leave for that reason. It’d be a devastating blow to this whole event. And I want to avoid that by all means.

That’s also the reason why I admire their bold, clever move to switch places with two contestants.

“…You okay?”

I’m happy about you worrying about me, Goggoru-chan. Super happy. Thank you. I’ll do my best and think things through.

What’s important at times like this is the goal. The goal of the main round is to show off Hero of the West-sama to other countries. In addition, it aims to bolster the Penny Empire’s military might in the eyes of other countries.

This is my arbitrary imagination, but the Loligon and Edita-sensei pair might lead to a fairly exciting match. And both of them are affiliated to the Penny Empire. You could say there’s no better pairing when it comes to the aim of this tournament.

The problem is: if the match becomes too overwhelming and awe-inspiring, it might dampen the motivation of the other participants. However, I think that aspect won’t be much of an issue if I publicly announce Loligon’s identity.

For better or worse, the story about the dragon who protected Charis is quite famous. And she is that very dragon, so everyone will likely be able to understand the reason for her strength.

In the second round, I’ll have the winner between those two get defeated by Hero of the West-sama after making them finish the match against Sophia-chan in a peaceful manner. If I handle it that way, this match won’t undermine the biggest motivations for the participants: the prize money paid to the winner and the higher placements in the tournament.

At the same time, I’ll be able to guarantee Maid-san’s safety.

Yep, it’s perfect. Those two forced their way into this tournament, so they’ll have to swallow at least that much.

“……”

Let’s go with that. It should work out well.

I reached my conclusion after considering it for a bit.

“Well then, it’s a bit abrupt, but let’s introduce the contestants participating in the sixth match. On the left side of me, we have Contestant Christina, an ancient dragon and the mayor of Dragon City!”

I introduced the person under the robe without holding back anything. In response, Loligon’s body trembled with a start.

gh!?』

Hehen, my status window sees through everything. I’d love to lick Loligon’s pu●●y.

“And the contestant facing off against her is yet another resident of this beautiful Dragon City. It’s no one other than the high elf Edita, the inventor of the life potion and a promising alchemist!”

gh…”

It was cute how Sensei got startled in a way that was even ridiculous for her. I’d love to see a peeing competition between her and Sophia-chan.

Immediately after this ordinary Japanese flat-face finished his introduction, both lightly nodded at each other for some reason or another. The feeling of them communicating through their eyes somehow gave me a sense of them being true friends.

Their awfully friendly relationship in the most recent days almost makes this busamen quite jealous.

Suddenly, they made a move. Just when I thought that they might have moved their arms, they suddenly flung off their robes.

“……”

No, they tried to fling off their robes, but miserably failed. Both started to wriggle for dear life, with their robes half off. You can imagine it as two very young kids struggling to pull off their clothes. It was an extremely heartwarming sight. It appears they couldn’t quite get their robes off as the fabric got caught by their tail, respectively, ears.

『H-Hey! How does this work!? I can’t get it off!』

“Wait a moment! I-I also struggle with this…u-ugh…”

Both were panicking. Maybe the surprise attack by this ordinary Japanese flat-face has been more effective than expected.

So charming.

When I shifted my focus to the audience, everyone was watching those two with the same expression as me. Even though they had raised their voices in response to the prominent keywords such as dragon and life potion up until now, they all had fallen silent all of a sudden.

In the end, I think both needed just a few seconds to undress. Sensei managed to take off the robe first, and thus went over to Loligon to help out. Afterward, both safely managed to revert to their usual appearances.

Even as they squared off against each other, the bashfulness coloring their faces struck home with me.

“We witnessed an unexpected accident, but now that it looks like the stage has calmed down, I shall take the liberty to announce the start of the sixth match once again.”

So far as it goes, I should put my healing magic on standby. Of course, while encompassing the entire venue. If pushed to say, it’s going to be a match that will be more dangerous for the audience than the contestants.

Since sensei is here, I believe that things won’t take such a serious turn, though.

“Very well. Both of you, please begin your match!”

Receiving this ordinary Japanese flat-face’s signal, Edita-sensei and the Loligon started to move.
