In Campusfellow, a small country prospering through agriculture and smithing, the people have long led poor yet fulfilling lives.

However, these days, the flames of war were fast approaching in the form of an invasion. The belligerent Kingdom of Magic, Amelia, has been monopolizing many wizards, using their paranormal powers to continue its quest to expand its domain under Queen Amelia.

At this rate, Campusfellow would perish, and accordingly, its lord, Bud Grace, came up with an ingenious plan to reverse the situation. He wants to gather the atrocious witches, scattered across the continent, and have them face off against Amelia.

Around the same time, he received a report that the “Mirror Witch” had been captured in Lowe, the County of Knights, a neighbor of Campusfellow. It was said the witch’s true identity had been disclosed on the day of the wedding with the king of Lowe, after she managed to seduce him in a bid to secure the seat of queen for herself. This resulted in a massacre among the wedding attendees.

Lord Bud travels to Lowe with his chief vassals to take the “Mirror Witch” into his custody. Rollo is part of that party. He, who’s commonly called “Black Hound,” is a young man who has been drilled in all sorts of killing techniques as an assassin of Campusfellow.
