MC will get sealed coz he got bored in the current era and hoping the next one would be better (more killing).

Most fights are in reality dull and repetitive, too, though. Of the many novels I read, this author does rather well in describing them, however of course they will seem a bit generic since you always know the outcome ahead of time. But you already said it yourself, the fighting is mere a side aspect. The story is more about the MC influencing those around him by his actions.

not sure on this but most magic systems put poison under dark magic and he has max level in that so there is a chance that poison will do nothing to him.

when he was first summand all food and drink he had made sure it was not poisoned letting his slaves eat first. as far as poison tipped weapons go he has shown that he can ether bock them himself or use his dark storage as armor making it so no weapon can touch him.

also the kingdom that summand him has the problem that he is in the eyes of the people a strong kind selfless wise war hero that they summand to help them so killing him would spark unrest something they could not deal with on top of the death of the king and most of the royal line a third of the knights and the reformatting of the state
lets not forget that by their law he had the right to kill the king and everyone that had a hand in the summon spell hell he could have taken over the whole kingdom that first weak be going on one of his killing sprees.
and lets not forget the first knight order he killed was their covert op unit witch where the best chance they had to get rid of him with poison before he was well known.

I thought that too, my opinion is either they think he can’t die by poison or Hifumi has a way to tell if something is Poison. Maybe the author doesn’t want to write about poison; in other novels I read many MC could get killed if poison was introduce but the author doesn’t do that. There was a manga I read about a guy who was very weak but he was good at setting traps then one day the hero who was was a Glutton got attracted to a trap that was meant to kill some wild animals(keep kill his farm animals) and gets kill. The big bad hero who saved the world a few year ago to be killed by traps, wow.

hmm his plans all seam to be setting up super powers for world war so the idea of him being sealed for some time like till the kingdoms get things in order for war and for one of them to decide they need him to lend a hand in battle and brake the seal or he has his wife set the delay for him dose sound like something he would do. once he gets done with his world tore setting up the warring states power base him sitting in a sealed state for 20-100 years for the battles to really get going instead of waiting for them to get their kingdoms in order seams like what he would do besides the worst case that could happen is he spends 300+ years sealed and there is no active war when its lifted that just means he gets to try to start his own after he gets out.
