Part of the MC’s reasoning makes no sense. The villagers will be annoyed if he claims there’s no more space? Why would that happen? Anyone with a brain cell would understand if he explained that there’s a limit to what he can carry. It’s just dumb to use that as a reason to not help them.

The only thing that makes sense is concealing the ability to stop bad people trying to take advantage of him.

I’m starting to hate the girl with the ‘I WANT TO HELP, PERIOD BUT LETS HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT’ attitude.

Being an inconvenience to other people because of their sense of damn justice.
They already helped plenty defending the place.
