This means that he has either other plans in putting his daughter into Renya’s party, or he wants to make his daughter happy at the same time reaping the benefits of having the OP MC on his side as most likely as Kurowaal’s relationship with Renya develops there’s a high chance that Renya will agree to help the Elven kingdom when the need calls for it.

Now also keep in mind that he has over 100 children, sending one off is really not helping him that much financially at all if you think about it. It’s just an excuse to make himself look like the villain and basically indirectly force MC to add another member to his party, well played Elven androgynous emperor, well played.

I feel similarly. Even if he is clearly a flippant philanderer with all of those children, it’s very possible that he was just playing the bad guy here to give Kurowaal what she wants, especially since she has no realistic chance at the throne herself. That or he really is that much of a cast iron bastard and deserves to be deposed at the next available opportunity.
