DaMN this guy is insane. He’s one those that like the old ways that hated the new ones.

Well, in the case of Salgu, I’d agree. The author failed to give his character a bit more depth as to why it’s possible for him to switch so fast and merely used him as side-villain.
As for the other two, I don’t really think so. Origa’s character before she became a revenge-driven slave was kept ambiguous, so you can’t really say that it was a switch and in the case of Reni, she’s your run-of-the-mill airhead that trusts people as long as they help her, so the switch actually fits her as sheepgirl. 🙂

I feel like this is one of the failures in the series, in that people, or beastmen in this case, changes their mind extremely quickly and easily without so much of a resistance. You see this happen with Origa, you see this happen with that new sheep girl called Rine or w/e, you see this happen to the bear man Salgu. Normally this type of instantaneous clicks don’t happen without time and enough stimulus, but in this novel, everyone snaps in a blink of an eye and goes from timid/ good guy into yandere/ curious george/ psycho killer.

While it is definitely different from the run of the mill hero gathering harem novels, in the sense of personality development as well as pacing I feel like the author rushes things a bit here and there without good reason, causing the characters to fall flat on their faces upon closer inspection.

Hifumi deosnt have any problems mentally. He knows what he is doing, its just that he doesn’t care about the morality of it. He likes to kill, but wasn’t/couldn’t in his previous world cause of laws and such, plus the fact that he isnt looking to get himself killed by doing so in the other world, being hunted down by various governments. He says some of the stuff im saying right now in the beginning chaps.
Any ways, hifumi is not a ‘hero’, just that eveeyone percieves him that way because he is advancing life for his allies, for his own convenience. But if they were to become his enemy, they would know he aint no nice guy, with sissy @ss norals that keeps him from killing the weak and innocent.

Message i was tryong to say at the end, is that hifumi doesnt justify his kills, he just doesnt care, because they enemies, so he kills them without regret, but also looks forward to it, cause he likes fighting and killing. He is the ‘villian’ of the story, that somehow ends up with good people by his side, whom he didnt kill because in this story, the side characters are actually smart enough to avoid an early demise, for absolutely no reason, when joing him will obviosly better theirs, and everyone elses lives around them.

Maybe? But its still a fact that he can’t accept their sittuation.
