He gained that to frontal assault not the ways that Hifumi and his men doing that different from what this world knows of battle. Its pathetic, stagnated, inefficient unlike ours who don’t stake pride and honor for such formal battle. We all we can to achieve victory.

They are also conveniently ignoring that they selfishly summoned him and the lied to him about the beastmen in order to get him to slaughter them in a huge war for personal gains and a bigger piece of the cake(instead of trying out a peaceful relationship, war would have happened either way). They are worse than he is in that aspect, because their “wars” would involve a lot of innocents, while the mc just kills soldiers or those who are absolutely necessary. All civilians are left alone, unless they’re unlucky enough to get seriously involved out of their own volition. Not only that, the mc easily conquered a lot of the enemy territory with minimal sacrifices, both on the enemy and allied side.

They’re basically just afraid of him, of his power and his personality, they don’t understand him and a lot of it is about revenge for the princess. They’re super scared that he will turn on them later on and that is used as an excuse for the princess to enact her revenge.

Hypocrites, the whole bunch of them 😀 If a war ever starts, it will be because of them and their greed, the mc will just be one of the things giving them a helping push.

On flat ground you could expect between 15 to 19 miles per hour while a horse averages between 24 and 29 miles per hour… so maybe they are going down a slope or something.
