In reply to Voltigeurs. That would be counter the story because it was mentioned that the demons originate from the elves whereas the tradition of the elves getting absorbed into the trees has always been around. Both facts don't mesh with each other. :)

In reply to andreliu507. That and it seems the scouts of the demon race seemed to have had no problem exiting the forest through the elves. Definitely a cover up! The elves are tricked as well as manipulated to being aggressive to outsiders because of their "duty to seal the demons"
