Can’t understand how you can see pedophile tendencies when I can’t see it but then everyone perceptions are different. Isn’t Marco To be around ten, since if I am not mistaken it was mentioned he would not be able to pay tax until he is tenant that would be another two year ( the chapter where he met the Inspector)

I’m dropping reading this story as the pedophile undercurrent is way too strong. Every chapter has men talking about how beautiful Marco is and then they become obsessed with his “greatness”. One even stalks him back to the inn just from seeing Marco (a little BOY) from the window of his carriage. ICK! This is some gay-in-denial male-harem seeking wish fulfillment sh*t that is creeping me out.
