i don’t disagree with the resolution at all. Hanging is always an easy alternative, but solving the things peacefully without much repercussion or revenges is difficult. Is worth sparing his two grandsons to obtain Klaus as a councelor, because he is really shrewd.
The problem now is what to do with the rebel soldiers. Is difficult to turning them loyal to use them as your army.

Says the japanese government is weak-kneed, then he himself proceeds to spare the rebels. Even gives klaus a chance for negotiations. Should be called tentacles since it just went beyond soft. Wend’s actions that is.

In reply to LIGHTDX. Yeah, that. But I was thinking at the beginning Wend. wanted to give his half-brothers some territory (or land) and a title but was rejected by his father and brother. Which the half brothers did wanted but instead they received position of head of store and hotel or something and headsman (I can not remember what happen in that chapter). Because of the rebellion they have to banish and watch in another territory for there crime. Land that is not being used and they will have there pay cut in half (Klaus and Dumber and Dumberer). But they were successful and received the new land and the grandchildren might have chance to receive a title later on. But that is a maybe.

Thanks for the chapter. I think Klaus just did a Leouch from “Code Geass” on this chapter. I thought at first he would the villain this might be his last chance to take someone down, then change it to that he might be doing this to change the outcome so his grandchildren would not die and take the blame. But the end he did so that none of his grandchildren and for a big opportunity for his future generations.

And now you know why I hate the MC of this series. Just transform him into Hifumi already and be done with it.
Quite honestly, I would kill the whole lot of them, but our MC is a “regular” Japanese person, so of course he won’t draw that card as he has no balls to do so anyway.
